Would go back to the box without Hamer. Puts too much on Palmer with 2 DM's and 2 ST's. Have Sheaf & Eccles screening, with Saka & Palmer providing the creativity for Wright. Play an elevated version of our League One promotion tactics and keep the ball more.

We don't need to replace Hamer like for like. Hamer replaced Walsh who was a more possession based player. The system will adapt as the players change. There is no way we can play the counter-attacking style as successfully as we did last year without Gyok & Hamer.

He's currently 3rd choice CM & 2nd choice RWB (will play until MVE gets up to speed). If we sell Gus and sign a CM he'll be no worse off. Even if we sign 2 CM's ahead of him to replace Gus he'll still get plenty of game time but more likely at RWB.
