    If we get promoted

Very droll, I like you. SISU will always be SISU, that's a given, lads. If our fortunes are due to change, it'll be in part thanks to their foresight and business sense RE. acquiring a top management team to get the product kickstarted. I was particularly anti-SISU, but then, what does such...

    Uncomfortable reading....

Sorry, but treading lightly around the issue of Islam is tantamount to ignorance; like Nick said, and Turkey being a prime example, the mentalities are stuck in the Middle Ages and frankly, it's not a lot to do with religion. Especially in Turkey, where my mum lived for 7 years, religion is...

    Uncomfortable reading....

Well, what can you say? For fear of sounding like a radicalist, anti-immigration fist-shaker, I think I'll keep my opinion to myself. Suffice to say, this sort of incident was bound to happen in Germany, with their recent influx of immigrants. Improper vetting springs to mind.

William Regal of WWE giving a brilliantly nostalgic and frank Interview

To be honest, I don't have much time for the WWE these days, I tend to watch old matches from the broad spectrum of Wrestling territories globally from 40 years ago to about 15 years ago. I do, however, have a lot of time for Darren Matthews AKA Steven William Regal. Brilliant showman, supreme...

    Penalty vs Crewe (or not)

Aye but Davies also said that: "Aside from the 5 goals, the match was pretty even"...

    Adam Armstrong family and friends

Oi, the "marp" came from me, mate. He "marped" me in Virgin Megastore in '95. ;) Now the "marping" makes sense. He did seem to glaze over a bit as I said: "Alright, Marcus?".

Best City XI of All-time (Strikers)

Dublin and Speedie (as a second striker) would have been an awesome pairing, if the two had chemistry. And been at the club at the same time, naturally. Aye Clarrie Bourton was in my thoughts, but then I guess only Grendel can vouch for his ability. ;)

    Penalty vs Crewe (or not)

Had we drawn or lost, and not got the decision, absolutely. Hindsight is wonderful for being fickle and speculating. ;)

    Wilson or Armstrong ?

Wilson scored 21 goals in a poorer L1 City side, so I'd say Wilson is the overall 'better' striker. AA is something else though, his finishing and instincts are off the charts.

I mean next season, providing we have the cover. Not now obviously, it'd be ridiculous.

    Penalty vs Crewe (or not)

Does it necessarily matter if it's a penalty or not, looking retrospectively? We got the decision, AA buried the penalty and we rightfully stuffed a poor team and boosted our collective confidence; it didn't look terribly iffy to me, but Vince made a lot of the challenge. Doesn't matter...

This is why I believe a loan away for a season would help his development tenfold; he isn't gonna learn as much as a back up.

Bottom (Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson) Xmas episode 'Holy'

Haven't seen this, have you a link at all? I did actually shed a tear when Rik passed away, I've grown up on his comedy and to me, he was the epitome of comedic talent. Might watch Drop Dead Fred later, actually, haven't seen it for a while. Now there's a film that would have been nothing...

Aye, very likeable lad, imo. Has the hallmarks of a great pro too, works his arse off and runs all day. Just needs a bit of intensive coaching on crossing and awareness, and he'll be a star.

Best City XI of All-time (Strikers)

The best partnerships I've seen, for that almost telepathic understanding between the front two, are Quinn/Rosario and Keane/Roussel. Dublin and Huckerby had a good understanding and got more goals, as did Ferguson/Wallace, but for me, the level of coherence between Quinn and Rosario was superb...

    Chris stokes

I've thought this for a while, his style is more in-keeping with a wide midfielder. Either that, or next season ( if we have the cover), send Haynes on loan to a L2 or L1 side for some quality experience and match time.

Yep, we've got a good crop of young heads who seem to have bonded well. In a way, I'm sad Kent's gone, I really wanted the lad to shine.
