What was the WASPS crowd today

it's cool, like I say I've done the same in the past, called someone out, realised I was being unfair/an ass/or going to cause an unnecessary argument and quickly edited, you just got unlucky. For the record though I don't like Wasps, Wish they weren't here, have no intention of ever going, but...

lol, too slow on your edit - but I've done the same in the past so I'll let it slide ;-)

    Couldnt even watch

Hell the land alone is going to cost more than substantially beating the wasps offer for the Ricoh.

    Couldnt even watch

Another one of the stupid completely illogical sound bites used to gain likes from the usual few who aren't capable of looking at a situation reasonably. Don't forget to use Tim Fisher speaks Gospel when it suits and is a liar when it doesn't. Also Les Reid was an award winning investigative...

    Couldnt even watch

Of course we can't see that. Building a new stadium is much much worse than staying where we are. Just because things are terrible now doesn't mean that anything else is better, it's pretty easy to demonstrate that building a new stadium is just worse, as much as I'd like our own stadium, it...

    Michael Byng on twitter

of course he does, I don't doubt for a second that he a massive fan of ccfc, nore have I ever doubted that, thats not in the slightest what I said. He says he would like nothing more than to see sisu hurt wasps. I said that says it all, that the thing he would like to see more than anything...

Because thats what he said, you would think that Sisu leaving would be thing that he'd want to see more than anything but that post and his others don't support that at all.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

it is a ridiculous statement, no one takes it as gospel at all (in fact the complete opposite). But ACL had a year of not receiving rent, then over a year with no tenant at all (that you didn't believe him when he said it) along with the fact that tennent says they are not coming back, have...

Bit of light pre game reading.

post your thoughts here if you want people to read them. That after all is the point of the forum, not to take traffic to your own site for ad revenue.

That says it all doesn't it, nothing more you'd like to see than damage to those you hate rather than improvements for ccfc.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

The 14m is a liability of ACL, I don't think there is much wrong with using the word debt, it's much more accurate than describing the 14m as an operating cost imo. Anyway family just arrived for the weekend so you may have the last word.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

I already commented on the fact its clear in hindsight that it could be brought for less a year later after a massive distressing effort that hurt us more than it hurt them. Do you really think we are better off now than we would have been buying Higgs for 5.5mill or whatever was offered?

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Thats not true, if you buy a failing company for £1 with debts attached the amount of those debts is always discussed and relevant.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Why not? buying half of ACL with acl still having the loan is far far superior to any plans they have of building a stadium, yes it's clear a year later after further distressing and loss of value due to the main tenant breaking there lease and playing in northampton that it was possible to get...

Back in court - July 7

If they lose this it's over (well it would be if they hadn't started a new court case), for it to go to European courts, they need to win this one (which is just a right to appeal), lose the next one (the actual appeal), then win one of the next 2 or 3 (which will be rights to appeal like the...

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

It is spin to use 19m (actually just wrong), it's also spin though to try and suggest that 5m is a pittance for the ricoh without mentioning that it has a 14m liability and it's spin to suggest sisus offer earlier was somehow equal when they required the liabilities to be paid off for just a...

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Yes I think people are talking about different things. I believe this is accurate. The deal is was worth 5.5mill, ACL is worth 5.5mill (probably more now imo) That valuation takes into account that ACL has a 14mill loan liability, if ACL did not have a 14mill loan liability then it's value...

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

but they wouldn't have paid 5.5m, if they did they we really would have a reason to be pissed at the council.
