i will be told! says Thorn

Sounded as fed up as we fans do. Feel sorry for thorn, has had no backing at all! Normally I would think that paper talk about our club loaning out our best striker , but with the current muppeys who own and run ccfc I'm not suprised any more

    Tomorrows CET

He will just say more crap..."we are trying to sign a loan player" (lies) and " I have cut the clubs losses by a lot since I've been here" , " i think the club are showing ambition by keeping key players such as mcsheffrey , bell and baker " :/ ...I can't wait :D

    The one man loan signing

I cant see it happening, SISU and the board are one massive lie! At the start of october, Ken Delieu said that 'we are leaving no stone unturned', yet last week we hear 'there is now funding available for ONE loan signing'. Its a massive joke, sisu said they wanted to be more open but they have...

Why Thorn has to take some of the blame!

Agree with You about lack of ingame decisions but to be fair Boothroyd was allowed to bring in 8/9 players in, thorns brought in 3 of which 2 are goalkeepers , it really is pathetic

    Thorn is not good enough

Absolute rubbish! Poor players, dreadful owners and inexperienced manager making mistakes, there are NO positives at all! I agree about thorn not reacting to what the opposition do (e.g subs) but my massive hatred is with SISU who gave him nothing to spend! It's a sad time being a Coventry fan :(

have we given up on the hope of loans?

Orange ken will come out in a weeks time and spin us another line of "we are leaving no stone unturned " to try and keep us happy...I don't really think the club really were trying to look for loans but thorn is doing a great job with the players at his disposal so play up sky blues!

    New contracts

I really hope all these sign, but it is still beyond me how we offered baker and bell contracts until 2015, i would use the money for their wages to get our younger players to sign as they are the future of the club

Best (or Worst) Ever Loan Players

Lee sawyer didn't do to well but for me Henderson was very good indeed

    Just seen Parkin in Tesco

Not the sort of player we need! Him and Platt...could you imagine :(

    Gunnarsson!

Lol yh i saw that, i honestly think in Connor Thomas and Gael Bigirimana we have two players who are younger and have more about them than Gunnarson, its just a striker who will score us lots of goals that we are missing.

    Bid for Juke

If SISU sell juke then we might as well give up, I mean he is the sort of player we should keep, he's young got a lot of potential and we already have a thread bare squad as it is so selling Juke would be utter madness. Ken Dulieu keeps saying how he managed to convince the owners to keep...

    3 Months on !

Leicester probably have an equally good of a squad and all i keep hearing is that they are after more players!

    O'Donovan !!

Yes he certainly deserved his goals, Connor Thomas was again very good, can certainly see why liverpool wanted him. But for me the pick of the bunch was Gael Bigirimana, just ran the midfield along with ruffels and thomas. The second half was certainly a reason to be positive. And Gary...

    v Nuneaton

Bigirimana was absolutely brilliant...SIGN HIM UP ON LONG TERM CONTRACT!!!!! Jeffers worked really hard. Callum Wilson was sharp and was dangerous. Cyrus Christie had a better second half to his first. Connor Thomas showed his class and Josh Ruffels apart from missing a sitter also passed the...

    Leicester or Birmingham?

    Birmingham!

    Leicester's signings...

St Ledger is an absolute Donkey, they can have him, we have by far better defenders in the likes of turner, cranie, mcpake and wood. And we showed in the last few games of last season under Thorn that agaisnt the likes of Reading and Norwich we can compete. Play Up Sky Blues!!!

    Jacobs

If 500K is all they want then hopefully SISU could fork that out..but then again it is SISU!

    Today's CCFC gossip

Totally agree 'Covstu', i would rather a decision 'YES' or 'NO' , rather than these players and agents messing us around. I really like deegan, can easily be as good as Gunnarson i think. Hopefully Thorn also has some players lined up to add some extra depth in midfield.
