First half was awful. City seemed unable to pass to someone else in red.
Second half was brighter, but Bury had 10 men behind the ball most of the time.
The ref was useless. Even my 8 year old, who knows nothing about football asked me if the ref was from Bury.
To the tune of Anarchy in the UK
I am a City fan
From Coventry, just like my old man.
We're here when its raining, we're here when its bright
We're here when we play well, we're here when we're shite
Coz IIIIIIIIII wanna be, at CITY!
He lived in a rented house near Bidford during his time at City. I did hear that he was in financial trouble then. Used to see him in the bookies in Evesham occasionally.
Born in Cov, brought up in Evesham (a Villa stronghold) and I despise Villa.
I've had loads of fun baiting Villa fans over the weekend via social media.
I'm 43 and remember away days at VP being one of the highlights of the calendar. Always a big Sky Blue turnout and a real edgy atmosphere...
Went to Italy v England in '98 in Rome.
Will never go to Italy for football again. The place is a hell hole when there is a game on. No away fan is safe. Locals on mopeds slashing peoples arses as they rode past.
The police were nearly as bad as the fans, with indiscriminate batterings dished...
Even if we got promoted, only a total loon would buy the club for anything near the price SISU want.
Their only hope is for us to get a return to the Prem, and that is light years away.
Only did 4 or 5 home games last year (I live in Yorkshire) due to work/family commitments.
I'm definitely looking to do more this coming season.
(After Barnsley away I didn't want to see another football ever again)
A little bit of optimism goes a long way
