    Rugby: Would you go?

I do not think the twats get it. Coventry City, the clue is in the name. Did they not learn from that disastrous year at Sixfields?

Going to my first Cov game since before Sixfields

It may be your last chance to CCFC as a league club.

    Council Less Reid JLR CCFC

As unpalatable as it might sound to some, the only way out of the SISU spiral is for the club to be part of this Wasps / JLR power base that is emerging in the city. Lets hope that the Chinese carry on buying Range Rovers.

    The Givers and the Takers

Konjic fought in the Bosnian army I was lead to believe. A 50/50 tackle with David Ginola would not have been that daunting.

    JLR purchase

The CT have as usual waded in with wildly exaggerated claims about future jobs. The bright future according to the CT seems to be all about Wasps and JLR, the football team we have is being left behind. Newspapers from Murdochs giants to local tin pot rags all want to back a winner.

    The Givers and the Takers

Big Mo always gave 100%. Lloyd McGrath, 120%. Mick Quinn genuinely loved his time here and thought the fans great. How times change.

When things look good on the pitch....

Newspapers have to fill pages with so called news, the CT have to do that 6 days a week and apart from a shed fire in Binley the vast majority of it lacks any actual facts. I take this current legal episode as nothing more than SISU brinkmanship but the CT seem to have taken a delight in casting...

    Bets for Today

I am putting us in my win accumulator. Something I do not do very often. Score 2-1.

    15th tomorrow?

The CT are nearer the mark than CWR. The CT see more advertising revenue in Wasps and SISU probably smacked their arse last time, hence their pro Wasp stance. Anyway former London Rugby teams do not interest me, a third consecutive win would do great for squad morale. Play off talk is...

11 points off the play offs

The Coventry branch of the flat earth society think its possibly.

    Pressley suing CCFC

What concerns me is Mowbray ( or any other decent manager) will see how SISU do not honour a contract, even one of employment and decide that there are other jobs in football. Once again the club is took to the edge of its own existence.

    Pressley suing CCFC

New manager, team looks confident good draw against Bradford and 2 away wins on the trot, we might even pull away from the drop zone for a relaxed end of season run in. The glass was getting nearly half full, SISU pour the optimism away again.

    the Great Escape?

The win against Chesterfield was vital as it has sucked a couple above us in to the battle a bit more The bottom 2 are probably as good as down so its 2 out of 6. All apart from Crewe have a game in hand and a better goal difference. The next 3 game will hopefully see us build on Saturday and...

    Bradford match thread

I went. Said I never would until regime change but had a relapse. Appointing Mowbray got a few fans blessed with the naive optimism of youth excited. They will learn. However as Bradford are on a high I though they would take all 3 points, so a draw didnt seem to bad. Missed the save at the...

Club should re-look at there projections

No council will want a sports stadium as any available land is being built on with housing currently. Thankfully it is bullshit, as proved by the freedom of information request. Perhaps a good job for SISU, spend 30 million building it and have only a few superfans who would by then be still going.
