    Cyrille or Dion?

If given the choice between both players I'd have to opt for Dublin. Regis was awesome at his best, but consistency was lacking, whereas Dublin was more consistent and had a better goals to game ratio, plus he was pretty useful at centre-half too.

So now it's a conspiracy, the loudest have won. Grow up. Our opinions differ, nothing more nothing less. I'll also repeat, I don't hate Dion, I never have done, I appreciate what he did while he wore the City shirt, however, his refusal to play, as well as the two fingered salute towards his own...

Was he contracted to sign a new contract? No. Dublin was contracted to play, but he refused. If he was still contracted to play for Coventry City then he was wrong to refuse to play. To mention Westwood, King and Keogh in comparison is futile, the 1st two the contracts had ran down an they...

When the day comes that the club pay me £20,000 a week, I guarantee to turn up and watch every single game. I've previously stated Dublin was a good player for us, (when he wasn't refusing to play that is), I certainly don't hate the guy. If not looking at his antics through Sky Blue tinted...

He was being paid £20,000 a week, are we supposed to be thankful that he gave his all? Seriously. It shouldn't matter his issues with Richardson or the board, he was being paid the largest wages this club had ever paid anyone, and he refused to play. As for being "vilified"? I'm not vilifying...

Yes, being paid £20,000 a week by the Chairman must have been awful for poor Dion, and a great example of how "crap" he was being treated. What about the supporters who had travelled all the way to Luton, having spent their hard earned to get there, buy a ticket etc, to then find out the...

I also recall after he had been dropped, and was getting a bit of stick from sections of the crowd, he came on against Southampton I think it was, scored and stuck two fingers up towards the West Terrace/Stand, but I guess this has long been forgotten too.

I have never had an issue with any player wishing to better himself by moving to a bigger and better club. Villa historically are a bigger and better club than CCFC so I had no issue with him going there. My issue then was his refusal to play. I don't care what other things were going on, he was...

    25/08/2012 - Coventry City v Bury

Are people really getting their knickers in a twist because he described Bigi as coloured? He is coloured, and until the PC zealots decided it was offensive it was a word used without it being offensive. I much preferred it when we just called a spade a spade and didn't pussy foot around trying...

Yes I was, I was a season ticket holder in the West stand. I couldn't care less what team he went to, his bickering with the Chairman should not have compromised his relationship with the manager and his team mates. Even Strachan felt terribly let down by him at the time.

What is his managerial record thus far that makes you want him to be our next manager?

I'm self-employed. However, I have never refused to work in a childish fit of pique. His actions regarding his move were in even poorer taste considering he was the Captain of the team, and the one supposedly setting an example. So while I accept he was a good player for CCFC, he will never be a...

We can only imagine where the club would now be if "legends" like Dublin hadn't refused to play for us?

NEWS : Former Coventry charity boss stole £120,000 of funds for blind

They should look into this guy going back a lot further than 2006. He was always in the casino doing 3 or 4 grand of a weekend. Arrogant prick too. He was in the Telegraph about 15 years ago, a young lad had donated his months wages from his paper round, and there was Pooley holding the cheque...

Of course it is, but I've made a good living at it over the years. There have been occasions when I've been stung, but I lay off any bets that will cost too much. Most are simply guessers, and most punters tend to guess wrong, as you say, it's a gamble on both sides, but I know which side I...

I bought 5 tickets for Friday's draw, with no return, oh well. Over the years I've seen different friends and acquaintance's do fortunes. I saw an ex boxer from Coventry go £23,000 down one night in the casino, and end up winning £800. Another friend of mine did £40,000 between the afternoon...

I recall my mate Jonah when we were relegated from the Premiership and had just signed Joachim and Hughes saying "with those pair up front there's at least 50 goals between them". I also recall him ringing me when the fixture list came out and saying "Willie boy, have you seen the fixture list...
