Nothing more to be said in my view.

Joy seppala has steadied the ship!!

Interesting piece and discussion. Everything about Sisu's involvement has, until now, been an utter shambles but, as I see it, its fortunes are becoming inextricably linked to those of CCFC. If the club and the arena are to be united, as appears to be happening, and there is big development...

    atmosphere

The only thing I did notice on Tuesday was how agressive some fans are getting towards the players, and booing at the end was a bit ott - it was a draw after all and although it was shit, it wasn't that shit. Not been much for a year or two, so haven't had to endure the crap play that you...

robins open letter to the fans

Well, not been this season apart from the Arsenal match but thinking about making the trip up the m40 tonight. Think I will - I like this bloke's honesty. PUSB

    Yes - exactly like that.

    robins learning from wenger

This is a very good point. I've a feeling Wenger has a soft spot for CCFC from what I've read. He's always been critical of the financial madness of football and I think he knows we're a proper club that's been shafted by circumstances. It would be great to become an Arsenal feeder club and...

Has anyone on this forum ever spoken to Joy Seppala? IF so, what does she look like? (looking forward to links) Why is SISU involved with CCFC at all? Does she even want to own a football club? Is she just here to make money out of property? (So last decade) And why, if that's the case, don't...

Diabolical city .. Ccfc is dead: Thats me finished

Interesting and thoughtful stuff. I'm one of the stay-aways too - partly because I live some way off, partly because my son has moved away and I don't want to go alone, but mostly because I too have fallen out of love with football a bit, and with sisu's ccfc in particular. I've always...

    RIP Ernie Machin

Too sad. Ernie was central to that first team I watched. Not exactly a 'flair' player - a fan who used to stand next to us on the Spion Kop called him' Machine' - but always reliable and likeable. RIP.

SISU will own 100% of the Arena...

All that really matters is that the club is legally manacled to the Ricoh stadium. No one should ever, ever again be allowed to sell off the stadium and leave the club in the shit.

Sisu refuse to pay the Ricoh rent for a second month!

Ah ... but the Council would need to give permission!

Sisu refuse to pay the Ricoh rent for a second month!

You're right italia, Sisu hold a lot of the cards. The Ricoh is a football stadium and won't be viable without a football club playing in it so Ricoh themselves surely won't sponsor the stadium without the club in it. CCFC/Sisu could drag ACL and the council down with them. What a total shambles.

    Leaving the Arena

Which is the biggest of those?

    Osb....

Thanks OSB - if the debt was written off all or in part by Sisu would ACL be interested - or do they want nothing to do with CCFC?

    Osb....

Oldskyblue58, I'm impressed with your grasp of the situation - you should be involved in the negotiations! Please excuse my ignorance, but would it ever be possible for a Higgs, ACL consortium to take over the club? ACL might not want to and Higgs might not want to, or be legally able to. I'm...

Have sisu paid the rent yet

Hi all, I've not been taking careful note of the club's predicament for a few years but my interest goes back a long way as my great grandfather was 'Cocky' Heath, the first captain of Singers FC back in the 1880's and I've been following City since 1966, so I do care! So I'm coming into this...

    In Today's Football League Paper

Thanks Willie - so the club needs to find well meaning benefactor. Just a wild thought that will no doubt be instantly shot down, but why don't the Council buy the club? As the club is so vital to the local economy it could easily be justified. I don't even know if it would be legal but foreign...

    In Today's Football League Paper

Interesting piece but the central problem of the club not owning the ground doesn't go away. That's the difference between us and Norwich and until the club and the ground are one I can't see much of a future. Excuse my ignorance, but why won't the Council sell to Sisu? Is it because they're a...

    John Sillett

Good to see Schnozzle Sillett waving to us all and appreciating our 'There's only one J.S' chants yesterday. A legend from a better time ..... a bit like me!
