This is what I’d do too except BTA for Wright as he’s been well off it since coming back. He can stay as impact sub until after the international break when he’s better prepared.
Also people forget BTA was good at the start of this run in the 5-3-2 and can definitely do a job for this game
Lampards system is to play with inverted wingers that come inside to create overloads out wide. The RW also drops into RM without the ball to make it a 4-4-2 shape.
Put Wright or EMC on the right wing and you no longer have the natural inversion or the defensive solidity. Not saying it will not...
Has the potential to do so but only if Frank starts shoehorning players out of position to accommodate him (e.g. EMC on the right), which i don't think he will

Stand by what I said in this thread while others were throwing toys out the pram. We had to churn an entire squad in 2 years and had only one outfield experienced pro (Bidwell), they were never bad...
Will he play for them next season?
They’ve new owners who will make a much better fist of trying to stay up, and if you ask their fans he’s not being pulling up trees and they need a replacement whether they’re promoted or not.
Smacks of little to no minutes first half of the season followed...
For every game to be a “must” win it would mean we’d need 13 wins just to reach the play offs.
We lost to Stoke 4-0 in 22/23 leaving us 4 points off play offs with 7 games to go. It was more significant than our game tomorrow but wasn’t a must win
Think that just dispels the myth that getting to the Premier League makes you a profitable business.
Every team in the league is still losing money, even the more measured ones.
Now is the time to go to a back 4 then.
Perfect timing with a week on the training ground. Need to keep trying to hit the channels and overload them out-wide
Brentford only spent around £30 million on 4 players the first year after promotion, so it can be done.
They already had Raya, Pinnock, Norgaard, Janelt, Mbuemo, and Toney in their squad though. Crazy good squad-building in the Championship
If MvE goes we’ll need 3 signings for our right hand side, been neglected the last 3 windows.
Think we’ll go big on a RW (Wright level signing) in the summer to finish the attack
Solid Championship winger for me. Not quite hit the levels pre-back injury this season.
Would want a first-choice RW in the summer and him to be back up.
