Also worth remembering the same splitting of gate receipts from Tottenham and Arsenal

Arrh memory how it can get cloudy!

Man City were at this level too. I know some people hate them, but the way they've gone from that to beating Man Utd is something that makes me smile. I live just outside Manchester and every proper Manc seems to be a city fan. It must feel so nice for them after all those years.

Man City, Bradford. Remember the nil nil last home game against Bradford, broke my arm two days before! A terrible month!

How can we retain the fans that are coming back for the JPT Area Final

Anyone under 18 who has supported Cov all their life will have seen season after season of shit; I feel privileged having seen Cov play in the Premier League. I actually have quite a lot of respect for the young people you see at normal home games. I've got memories of beating the likes of Man...

How can we retain the fans that are coming back for the JPT Area Final

Personally, the only things I can see making a major difference to attendances aside from the quality of football is the lower prices and the completion of the train station. The only other thing would be moving the away fans closer, creating a decent atmosphere near the scoreboard. The...

Is it me or are we not actually good at this.....

We used to leave Marlon King upfront for corners when we had Westwood as well. Westwoods distribution and Kings control made it quite effective. It does seem to vary under Robins. Murphys distribution is also pretty decent - leaving someone like Moussa or McSheffery upfront seems logical, doubt...

    Highfield Road or Ricoh?

If you offered me HR at its worst or The Ricoh, I'd still take HR.

Renaming a Stand at the Ricoh

Seconded. The introducing crap they used to do was horrific. If the fans were to name it, there'd be nothing they could do. The only players worthy from my era of watching CCFC (Since 97) are McAllister or Keane. Pretty sad how there's been no one since then

    Highfield Road or Ricoh?

Not in the same way though was it? It was always the East Stand, Terrace, Main Stand etc. This season Tesco aren't sponsoring the stand, but its still referred to though they are. Just find The Ricoh covered in too much advertising, I understand its a money maker but it looked so much better...

    Highfield Road or Ricoh?

An intimidating atmosphere is a start, but the pitch is miles away from the stand which makes it difficult. Even the changing rooms etc - look at Liverpool at Oldham today, not looked comfortable at all.

    Highfield Road or Ricoh?

I really miss HR. I hate the fact that apart from the badge that looks like a fridge magnet, there's very little that identifies it as our ground. The stand are named after supermarkets which I find a bit sad as well. It's a shame that the younger fans will never experience HR. The Ricoh is too...

JPT who has been to all the games?

Like most, I've been to all except York and going to both legs against Crewe. I love the crowd at the JPT games, everyone just seems to be having a laugh!

    Sat in the home end......

I remember a Newcastle fan celebrating in the East Stand at HR after they scored after about 5 minutes. As the stewards took him away, he shouted something like "I'll miss the rest of our goals!" He was right, they scored five that day!

    Villa flags

Those flags the Villa fans had looked so tacky. There are so many things I'd rather see the club spend money on.
