Match Thread Hull City - Coventry City Match Thread - Monday 14th Apr

Played pretty well tonight. Made some many chances, just not clicking but trying to remain optimistic despite the really frustrating equaliser. Just one of those games where where we were never going to score without a jammy deflection. Same for Hull (who were toothless). Rudoni quality.

The fact you have an account on the Cov forum really doesn't help your argument here mate 😬

Match Thread Coventry City - Portsmouth FC Match Thread - Wednesday 9th Apr

We looked flat tonight, devoid of ideas. Made the winner so much sweeter as I didn't feel it was coming. Think the subs were a little too late but thankfully they came. Agree with a number of earlier posts that wright down the left and Simms up top should have a trial again. And the...

Match Thread Coventry City - Burnley FC Match Thread - Saturday 5th Apr

Just got back. Shocking moments from Grimes, Kitching and Collins. If we get in the play offs - my preference is Burnely out of the top 3 - quite unimpressed with them I expected more. Wilson has to start now, Collins confidence must be shot. Imagine the flash backs he’ll get when he sees...

Match Thread Sheffield United - Coventry City Match Thread - Friday 28th Mar

United were just more clinical. On another day they don't get the first 2. Just one of those days when it clicks for them. The 50/50s all went their way in the 1st half. Also the sign of a good team tho. The absence of Kitching and Rudoni from KO just lowers the intensity of the team. They...

Match Thread Sheffield United - Coventry City Match Thread - Friday 28th Mar

You've nearly convinced me with this. But any player who leaves and plays us in the league at any point gets sh*t from me…. those are the rules when you pick up the bigger pay check.

Match Thread Coventry City - Sunderland Match Thread - Saturday 15th Mar

Magic performance today. Wright playing CF was top level. Simms still absolutely in the frame as its genuinely exciting to have EMC, Haji and Simms to rotate. Saka is on fire at the mo. Allen and Da Silva a revelation tofay with MVE also great. Ultimately Sunderland are cruising to the...

Not hopeful at all. Frank needs to motivate these players to put a shift in - weird to say after the incredible form. But feel like we have a soft placid nature at the mo.

Sheafs stock/reputation is high in the championship and beyond. Still hopeful we get a decent fee in the summer. Lets hope its just this game and he plays the rest of the season.

    Ellis simms

Yes I imagine you're spot on with this. Can't remember now but think BTA stayed left and Haji up top when he did come on though?

    Ellis simms

Maybe lamps will prove me wrong but when EMC came off it had to be wright at LW with Simms up top. Its worked so well before. Even when BTA comes on he should be the CF with wright LW. I wonder if Hajis had a word or Lamps is convinced he's only a CF. Would be keen to see EMC LW and Haji CF...

Match Thread Coventry City - Stoke City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Mar

Special end to the game today with a big crowd. Amazing. Lampard spot on with his comments after - we were too “safe” 2nd half which allowed Stoke back in. Pen or Eccles shot going in would have put it to bed - but what a relief!

    How good is Sakamoto?

It’s because he’s playing in a 433 right of a front three - simply his best position.

    Hmmmm

Yeah I think they are now in the yo-yo mix going forward. It’s a free hit the prem this year, they’re in a really fantastic position from 4/5 years ago.
