    Thank You

That is fantastic. Thanks for sharing Dan - hope you and the boys continue making great memories. Mild Mannered Janitor - what a great thing you have done. Makes me proud to be a Sky Blue

Mason did poorly as well. Should never have let his man get a cross in.

    Interesting Reading

I’m pretty sure that has a lot to do with the Ricoh being much bigger and the fact the 14 years of its existence has seen some pretty dismal times for us. If the Liberty has a 15,000 crowd, it’s nearly 3/4 full, but a similar crowd at the Ricoh would mean it was less than half full.

    Oggy Retiring

Do you think there is a competition at the Cov Telegraph to see who can produce the most inept and embarrassing journalism in history? Here is a guy who had a long and illustrious career in our top flight era. Even allowing for a bit of rose tinted-ness, he was a tremendous player and servant...

Almost a quarter of all our league goals scored were against Sunderland and Bradford!

    Very good Guardian article

I replied to your earlier post because it concluded with "You and peace can blame the council all you like, so best of luck with how that helps us. At least you’ll get a like from Torch..." So, from that I inferred that you haven't understood my position that, yes, I blame the council, but I...

    Very good Guardian article

Is it really so difficult to understand that blaming the council for their role in this mess, does not rule out blaming SISU for theirs?

    Very good Guardian article

Thankfully, some people are more concerned with making sure the council get their fair share of the blame rather than an accepting as fact an article riddled with lazy journalism that does precisely nothing to genuinely help the plight of our club. To put my comment into context, the Guardian...

    Very good Guardian article

Sometimes it’s as much about what you don’t write, as what you do. No mention of the Council lifting up its skirt to a London rugby club BEFORE the rent strike for example. The City fans composed a more balanced article in the form of a song on Friday.

    Very good Guardian article

If by ‘very good’, you mean ‘incredibly one-side revisionist bullshit that could have been written by George Duggins and Anne Lucas’ then you’re right, it’s very good.

    Joy At The Game Today

Don’t shoot the messenger, but I’ve heard there was a secret meeting with Duggins last night. Apparently Joy and George met at the Godiva statue before dawn. There was a choir of masked council members singing Carmina Burana while Joy and George feasted on babies stolen from a Sunderland...

Ha! Way to go lads - Sunderland TLS

“My first gift to the county of Northumberland was a nasty one.” With all this talk of things being flung at the Sunderland fans, I’ve got to ask. It wasn’t...was it Laurence? Another reporting masterclass. Thanks from all those who couldn’t be there!
