    Mental Health

My wife works for the NHS. It seems to be so top heavy with management on 50k + a year and no matter what you do wrong they never sack people unless it gets out in the media and then they pay them off with massive payouts.

How long have schools and academies been behaving so sinister? I know a person who worked at a school in Birmingham in the mid-90s and he said they were shocking in how they treated him.

The slowness of this government is showing in the daily numbers now, relaxing the rules and not locking down earlier even before Christmas. Will they learn any lessons or will we get another relapse somewhere in 2021?

Why hasn't the EU approved the Oxford vaccine and why aren't other countries using it? I thought it was better in the sense that it didn't have to be stored at freezing temperatures.

Anyone else fed up, what's your story?

I was trying to get out of this job and get another job when Covid happened, I am not enjoying my job at all. Since Covid I am having more put on me while others reduce their in work hours and abuse their positions (and get pay rises). There's so much competition for jobs at the moment, I will...

Even at this point people still have their head in the sand. People walking around my workplace with no facemasks, people saying their being safe when they visit their other family members, it's like they think rules don't apply to them and it's others that are causing the problem.

The school where I work has a quarter of the kids in as key worker kids. It doesn't feel like a lockdown or like much has changed. And I can't believe the arrogance of some people who don't wear masks or break bubbles and think they won't get it or pass it around to others.

    Wilder resigns

If Wilder does leave Sheff Utd that would make Robins the 11th longest serving manager in English football. Most managers barely make it to 3 years. That's a shame.

For me one thing that shows through is that whatever slogans about "we are all in this together", it just isn't true. The UK is a very divided country, that's before we discuss politics. Secretly I'm pissed off with some people who appear to be breaking the rules, people clearly have been, I...

I think Brighton is trying to put across that with schools going back it's inevitable that cases (in schools at least) will go back up again. That will probably have a knock on effect to the national figures and NHS. In the final 4 weeks before Xmas my school was on its knees. Five classes off...

    January transfer window

Conor Wickham (Palace) and Aboubakar Kamara (Fulham) are getting no minutes in the premier league. I'd try to loan one of them.

I'm surprised you even get thank you's, they are rare for me. I've worked in retail, distribution and security but I've not seen anything like the education sector, it's messed up. Some of the things my current school do are very wrong. The image that's given off is very different to the...

If parents knew exactly was happening in schools they probably wouldn't be so keen to send their kids back. Corridors are crowded with kids, rooms used by more than one bubble group in between cleaning, staff breaking rules, headteachers turning the other way, no extra cleaning or deep...

We've known for a long time that there was going to be another surge, people we asking for lock downs back in September. It's just become constant mismanagement for the government who seem to faff around trying to mop up the expected wave of destruction rather than stay ahead and be proactive.

How come strike action is never mentioned in the education sector? I understand that some people won't want any actions to have a negative impact on the kids but I haven't worked in a sector that is so messed up. Got to be honest, the academy I work for don't really seem to care about the kids...

Clothes. Once upon of time when I was a 30 inch waist I l had no issues with clothes. But now I can never find a pair of trousers, jogging bottoms or boxers that doesn't expose most my arse whenever I'm in a position other than standing up straight. I can't play with my kids, do DIY or fix...
