What is it with all this 'I've lost interest' & 'The club id dead to me' Crap?

I wouldn't say the club are dead to me, but if I wanted to support a team from the comfort of my living room I wouldn't choose Coventry. I've quite enjoyed going to Cov Rugby on a Saturday this season, but I'd be straight back if we were at the Ricoh.

    robbins on talk sport now.

Robins was certainly one of the better managers we've had since our relegation from the Premier League, but McGoldrick played a huge part in that. To be fair, it seems to have been a blessing in disguise, I much prefer the football we're playing now.

Unsung Hero so far this season

I wouldn't really say we have any unsung heros, every player seems to be getting the praise they deserve. I would add that I think Moussa is technically one of the best players in our league, and maybe doesn't get the credit that players such as Nahki Wells seem to get.

    Vale Park

I don't see how a number of bars would survive in the area when they only have 23 days a year when income would be high. Plus the lack of train station means that a percentage of potential customers have to drive and can't drink anyway.

    Vale Park

Agreed (edit: to Swisstony's post) It'll never happen in a million years, but the location would be perfect. The Ricoh is a fantastic facilty and good for people who drive in to watch Take That, but as a football supporter, the location is shite IMO. The train station would improve things, but...

    Sponsor (again)

I really don't understand why Fisher comes out with this stuff. Why doesn't he wait til its set in stone before saying this ten day shit? I find it genuinely staggering that this man in still in employment.

Tim Fisher talking like a cat with a strawberry flavoured arse and The Business Cycle

I do find it strange why Fisher is still here, he seems to have burnt every bridge... but he must be doing something right in the eyes of his employer. In any other job, if he pissed 10% of his customers off he'd be gone. He's done it to 99%.

If CCFC cease to exist then itll be Sphinx for me. I don't think I could ever chant "United"

Ricoh Arena to sue Northampton Town FC

Agree with the majority of posts. Feel sorry that their fans have been dragged into this but their chairman chose to get involved.

    "Save Chip"

Man City did something similar that worked really well. Uploaded posters onto United websites with the United badge and the words "This Is Our City" and "100% Manc". Cue loads of United fans printing them off and putting them about in London, the Far East etc.

    Best CCFC keeper, memorable saves?

Westwood vs Birmingham away when we won 1-0. Some of his saves that night defied logic.

    The Bomb Squad

I am really struggling to see the logic in dividing and alienating the squad like this. Yes, they might not be in Pressleys plans, but why not just keep them training and listen to offers if they come in. It's going to be more difficult to shift a player who hasn't had a preseason. I have time...

FL flexible over the 30 mile radius?

Agree entirely. I hate SISU for what they've done but we're going to look pretty stupid if we've been screaming for the club to stay in Cov, only not to turn up if they do.

    My New Radio Show

Have to say that whenever I'm in Coventry I listen to The Hillz, certainly much better than the commercial stations that flick between Olly Murs and JLS's new songs all day. Fair play to whoever started it because I think it's a great community project. Good luck anyway fella, just don't...

FL flexible over the 30 mile radius?

In a sense, this rule has to have a degree of flexibility. In our case maybe not, but if Norwich needed a temporary ground I'd imagine they'd need more than 30 miles. Whilst I don't agree with it, there are reasons why it's not binding.

    The Place We Call Home

It's very simple for me. If we're still at The Ricoh then I'll carry on as normal. If we moved out then for me, the club is no longer representing Coventry and I'll go and watch Sphinx.

    Sisu's Thinking...

In all of this, I don't really think SISU's thinking has been the problem. Where they've messed up big time is their communication. They've seemingly burnt all bridges with ACL, started making threats of liquidation and relocation, then made a half arsed attempt to speak to the fans, who have...

    Letter to Telegraph

I honestly think we should be making season ticket prices (when theyre announced) for those under 20 really cheap. Offer 3 for 2, or like the system Bradford have in place, where you get a fiver back everytime you go. I feel lucky to have seen a few PL seasons, those under 20 won't have seen a...
