On the Cov Evening Telegraph ... it's saying Mark Robins is considering dropping JCH (purely to rest him) and obviously has to drop Chaplin and start with Baka and Jiwula ... surely he won't change the front end that much ... this must be a bluff surely ?

Whilst I fully endorse any loan player, whether one of ours going out or one coming in ... not to be able to play against us/them ... I think when a player is on loan with an already signed contract to purchase come January (only held up due to the rulings say we couldn't sign after August) ...

4 points would be my genuine guess ... clearly 9 would be great, but we are so inconsistent, if the Barnsley game Cov team turn up ... then more than 4 ... if the 15 mins of Bristol turn up ... none ... simple as that ... we are capable of 7 points mind ... can't see us winning all 3 ... sadly.

Not in the same vicinity as Biamou quality wise ... JCH is inconsistent.... odd good game, but mostly he's lazy (imo) and clearly as a striker, can't score ... one header all season ... (albeit a good one) isn't good enough ....

We always seem to lose to weak / perceived weaker teams ... we can beat top 6 and lose to bottom 6 ... Forest Green for eg ... but this does sound poor, feel for those that drove down this weekend ...

Think it's likely to be 1 v 1 if honest and I'd take that at this stage in the season, particularly as Barnsley are in a rich vein of form presently ...

It's a shame that Biamou is out for the season, as I see that he and Chaplin would have been a great pairing ... but maybes JCH can pair up with him too ?

Totally agree Otis ... been supporting City for 40+ years and in that time my recollection is that he was the worst "striker" we've ever had ...

Wish he was on ours, we could keep him busy ... we appear to have nothing up front tonight ? ... ;-)

I absolutely agree with you ... one of them going was inevitable, but both and if Chaplin / a.n. other (sizeable amount of money for recognised natural striker) doesn't come in today ... I'm afraid I'll be viewing it as way worse than the usual "cashing in" of other seasons ... as McNulty and...

So on the assumption that this guy is virtually over the line ... do we think it's the number 10 shirt he's filling, or does anyone thing Conor Chaplin could be purchased too before Thursday's deadline ? Apologies, not seen loads of updates and been busy today at work ... so haven't caught the...

Don't know about the OP but personally don't know any quotes where he said there definitely isn't any money ... BUT it's for sure that we haven't spent any of it YET ... and it shows ... on the pitch, no strike force worth talking about and that will be down to the McNulty sale prior to getting...
