    Waghorn

Waghorn is an absolute perfect foil for Viktor. He will get more goals but his involvement is so important to us and those around him. His work rate is super aswell. I really like him.

    Expected Goals table

I think you always have to take Xg with a pinch of salt. However I distinctly remember last season being like 25 games in and we hadn't got a single win on the Xg table. So there certainly is a massive upturn in our chance creation and defensive solidity.

    A Cardiff fans view

Some of our interplay quick one touch stuff was genuinely unreal until the final ball, a combination of some good last ditch defending coupled with dodgy final passes meant we weren't out of sight. Even when Godden came on, that flicked heade to Vik and his run deserved a goal but a poor pass...

    Hughton sacked...could MR be a target ?

Same could have been said about Sunderland and he weren't interested back in L1.

    Jamie allen

He is playing MUCH better than he did ever in League 1. Like his performances this season and his impact is on a different level. It is staggering as I thought he was done. But now he is someone I would not want to see dropped on Saturday.

    Hughton sacked...could MR be a target ?

I think if he can see we are progressing year on year which we have done (down largely to him) and keep doing so I think he would want to stay and be the man to take us back to the top flight. He even mentioned about that being the ambition when we got back to League 1 after the Play Off win...

Match Thread Cardiff - Home - wednesday the 15th

They play for long throw ins and any chance to put it in the box they will. Watched the game yesterday with a friend of mine who is a Cardiff fan and they looked so much better once Colwill and Kieffer Moore came on. Would expect Collins to be dropped as he didn't look very good at all. We...

    Jamie ‘Wonderman’ Allen

Brilliant today. Fair play to him. He is looking the best he has for us. I thought he was done but credit to him and I am delighted! The support from SBA was superb though! Brilliant!

    Sky Blue Tavern

I've been in a few times and enjoyed it a lot in there. The food is a but pricey but thought it was very good! And in terms of a Sports Bar to go watch big games on the weekend or whatever I think it fits the bill. I want it to succeed and do well and think they deserve people to support them...

    Waghorn.....

Played well yesterday, him and Vik looks to have a good partnership and cause teams problems. Was close to scoring yesterday on a couple of occasions. He will score but a big role he has to play is acting as a foil for Vik and O'Hare.

    Zain

I thought he was a passenger in a lot of games for us, but because we were playing some very poor opposition we could start him and then bring him off for O'Hare/Biamou when we needed to win the game. For me the fact in that crucial run of games where we played Rotherham, Sunderland and...

    O’Hare

Get him tied down and out in a big release clause. The only thing missing from his game is goals. Once those shots he was having go in the goal rather than wide of it he we be gone. So got to get big big big money for him.

    Robins

Exactly and yet despite all that he has done for us there were doubters, when there quite clearly shouldn't be. What he has done and is doing is genuinely astonishing. The football I watched us play last night was brilliant, on the front foot, something we didn't do last season so much as we...

    Player ratings

Got to remember how far we have come since this time last season. We were nervous, timid and very passive in most games, the goalless draw with Barnsley last year we created nothing apart from one chance. We already look more confident in ourselves and have more belief that we belong and yes its...

    Where's Max?

Robins lives in Derby, I asked him at the 2 Tone Kit Launch where he travels from and he said he lives in Derby.

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Get him tied down to a longer contract and next summer we can command a big big fee.

    Away Kit??

Just love how it's Gervane's body used! 🐐 🤣 he was the main man. Or supposed to be!

    Podcast Leo Skiri Østigård Special

It was cracking to get the chance to speak to Leo. As I said in another post on here recently, last season I started contributing to Sky Blues Extra with the Memory Lane pieces and the occasional post match live. But I was kindly asked to co-host with this. What a top bloke, incredibly honest...

    Pask told he can leave

Pask is an odd one. I feel sometimes he plays and it is like the lights are on and nobody's home. But he has been the utility man covering various options. Think he has been better when coming on as a sub than he has when he started games. Think he has some talent and it's a shame he hasn't been...

    Martin Cranie

Last season we finished 16th, we had some disappointing moments, we made mistakes, but we learnt and adapted and found an effective way if winning to pull us away from danger. All that with basically the same 11, our strikers were rarely all fit at the same time, Robins rarely used his subs as...
