    East Midlands Supporters Club

Did anything ever come of this? I live in Ashby and following some discussion on another thread about people going alone to the game I thought it might be interesting to follow up! If not, if anyone from the Ashby area wanted to share lifts to the matches then let me know.

    Meeting people at games?

I used to go to the football with my great aunt and uncle as a child... most of my family are relatively indifferent and most of my friends are Derby fans (where I grew up). As my great aunt and uncle are no longer with us I now go alone... be more than happy to meet for a chat at the game / sit...

    Season Ticket Sales

I just downloaded a QR / barcode scanner and mine does scan too... feel a little more confident now.

    Season Ticket Sales

Seems like a few people on Twitter have same issue with the bar code... club have said to email the ticket office so don't think it's meant to be like that. Going to be interesting at the first match...

    Season Ticket Sales

Have anyone else's tickets got some strange "missing bits" from the barcode? It's like it on both tickets but not seen that before!

    Jim’s travel

Can't say I'm glad to hear that his sails are going through the roof again. Not met the lad but sounds like a right wanchor.

    Flask ban at the Ricoh

When I want to take a bottled drink in, I take a "spare" bottle cap with me from a bottle I've popped in the recycling. Saves me spilling it all over the place celebrating goals...

    We let ourselves down

Not justifying it. He's a professional footballer who can't kick a football consistently and we need an upgrade. But unless you've been living under a rock for well over a decade you will realise there is the square root of fuck all we can do about it in March. Confidence is a massive determiner...

    We let ourselves down

As I said above, we need a better keeper. Sadly, they don't grow them on trees at Ryton, so we either wait until the summer or get Dom Hyam to drive Burge to training in the hope he gets nobbled and we can get Stockdale back. In the meantime, Lee Burge with some confidence is better than Lee...

    We let ourselves down

The Burton fans were obviously going to do that, as we would to an opposition's keeper. But I was shocked with how many of our fans did the same.

    We let ourselves down

I agree you can't praise him, he was terrible today and we need a better keeper to progress. But did people really think he'd magically play better being heckled? Do we really think destroying his confidence is going to help the team? Let's be honest, Addai isn't the answer and so Burge is the...

    We let ourselves down

Burge made a terrible clearance today, and did not have a good game. That much is obvious to everyone who went. But why do so many fans feel the need to make ironic cheers etc? Do they really think it's helping anyone? We're all fed up with the off-pitch situation, and there was a real tense...

    Thomas injury

From what I've heard from my Derby supporting mates it pretty much cut and dry that he will be staying.

    Player ratings

Burge - 6 Some good saves, but invited pressure from set pieces and kicking seems to have regressed again. Sterling - 8. Great performance today, has really improved during his spell with us. Mason - 6. Did pretty well but a bit hesitant, perhaps not helped by a lack of width in front of him...

    callum wilson value

Welbeck's injury (looked horrible) probably makes it more likely he'll actually get some minutes. I hope he makes the most of the chance, he deserves it after the injuries etc and reading the BBC article it seems he had a pretty rough start in life too. Seems like a decent lad.

    callum wilson value

If he was to leave Bournemouth, I think they'd want an astronomical fee based on current form... can't imagine they need to sell him and they would need to spend a lot to replace him. They could easily hold out for over 50m if he keeps fit and scores goals all season.

    Nephew's first game

He had a great time, loved the crowd singing around him and celebrating the goal but got quite frustrated that we didn't score more goals. He wants to go again, just glad we won!

    Nephew's first game

Definitely going to try and get one... hope they've got them in stock. We've swapped a burger for nuggets but otherwise on track!

    Nephew's first game

I'm taking my 5 year old nephew to his first match at the Ricoh today (his first game was the pre-season match against Derby) and wondered what memories you all have of your first home game. I remember the excitement of walking through the turnstile in the corner of the East Stand and seeing the...
