    Leicester nearly sold out...

Not confident at all about this one and thats unusual for me, just feel Leicester are too strong all round and coming into a bit of form and we are pretty desperate at the moment.

Did Thorn want to sell Turner?

The losers in this are SISU about £2million on the fee when he was sold, possibly £3million in TV money should we go down and and a big fee from a premiership club in the close season which will happen if Cardiff don't go up.

THE BEST HEADER OF A BALL - Top 3 for CCFC 1967-2012 ???

Depends how far back you want to go George Curtis could head a ball 50 yards under pressure Hudson, Bly, Ted Roberts, George Kirby, Larry Lloyd, Colin Stein, David Cross, Mick Ferguson, Speedie and of course Dion Dublin....The best, for me has to be Curtis heading rain sodden leather balls half...

    protests still a good idea?

People ARE protesting in the traditional way fans protest...they ain't going as Saturdays attendance figure showed, despite much hype about a fiver less etc,etc relatively few were enticed to go and those that did go for the first time for a while won't be going back in a hurry after that first...

    Jon Gaunt

I remember him slagging George Galloway on Talk Sport but when challenged to an open debate by George he made his excuses not to. Went down in my book then. Galloway would have ripped in to him big time.

If true no wonger takeover is taking forever

Suppose to say wonder, can't alter it, don't know how. Mind you if it earns us 2748% we'll be loaded.

If true no wonger takeover is taking forever

Now this is third hand information so be kind, but spoke to a guy today who told me these takeover talks have involved a number of organisations, all have had to be spoken to, have their own agendas and there are still discussions to take place apart from the obvious, SISU, there's Coventry City...

Geoff Foster, Poor Interviewer....missed a Trick

The point of this thread isn't Andy Thorns ability or lack of when interviewed it was Foster missing a chance to ask a searching question. I've replayed the question and in my opinion Thorn left and i think deliberately a chance to question any reasons there might be not to bring in loans...

    So...

Fecking hell that list of available managers is frightening, there's only one i would consider Lee Clark, maybe Billy Davies the rest would enhance my retirement from watching football not one would increase season ticket sales. Which is why i would go for a new guy, new to management...

Can't understand, why no offer of help from elsewhere ?

Cassidy brothers are long time City fanatics and have poured loads of dosh into the club over the years. It is concerning to me why they and some other associates won't do it now, perhaps that underlines the situation here at Cov. I know one such guy who would walk on broken glass for his Sky...

Eastwood ain't interested and i think he will drop out of football certainly pro-football. Has interests in the gypsy horsey world now and that comes first.

Can't understand, why no offer of help from elsewhere ?

We had and I presume paid a certain Steve Waggott for a month or so to sort out any players ATwanted, not a bad little earner for him i should think

Can't understand, why no offer of help from elsewhere ?

Administration is a topical word at the moment, my understanding is that for us it isn't even an option, just the way the sisu deal was set up 4 years ago. They can close us down though !!

Can't understand, why no offer of help from elsewhere ?

I am saying it with the knowledge that maybe there will be a change of ownership and i don't see offering to pay wages for two months March and April as anything a hedge fund company can steal. What i am saying a public offer of assistance would do is show us all if sisu want relegation or not...

Can't understand, why no offer of help from elsewhere ?

It is plainly obvious our present owners are not going to finance any deal to bring in player or players to help this relegation fight. But what about others. There are plenty of well heeled supporters more than able to finance either on a loan basis or even a gift. It is said some years ago our...
