after being a Coventry fan my whole life

It's society in general now, not just football. People have much less loyalty or stamina for sticking with something they initially believed in or supported. When times get tough people jump ship its the culture in the Uk today I'm afraid!!! It's much easier to take the option of following a...

Today remind you of anything ?

Didn't go down well yesterday when the wife asked me what was special about today and I replied the transfer window shuts though!!! :p

    Clingan, Leeds...

I think it might be a case of not looking at the press today and then looking tomorrow to find out who we have left  I keep telling myself it can't get any worse, but it somehow does!

Are things bad enough to force SISU out now?

A match with less than 5k in the stadium would make the news headlines that's for certain!! That kind of publicity wouldn't be good for SISU as it would make national headlines or go even further.

    Parkin arrives for medical?

Parkin plus a little cash - Cardiff must be finding it hard to contain their laughter!! They get a top quality centre back and off load a dead weight (lots of weight) - I hope there's a sell on clause for Turner!!! Platt and Parkin - we'll have the slowest and heaviest strikers around...

    Gael Bigirimana

I know the lad via my daughter and he's just happy to be playing football and in his words he's just learning the game and improving with every match in the first team but he's gutted that the team isn't winning. He's not big headed about his own ability and thinks there are much better players...

    Sven to go for Keane

Those that have and those that have not! We are in the category lower than have not! It's a rish clubs game now and we can't even compete at Championship level at this moment in time! I was there for Keane's first match for Cov damn he set the stadium alight that day.

    Bad Times

I thought Birigamana played well and Hussey had a decent enough game but on the whole the team is lacking - we had our moments and didn't look bad but Leicester always looked like the were going to nick it. The trouble is the Leicester team will gel and they have lots more options to try but Cov...

Gary Mcsheffery will score 20 goals this season

Can't see any of our squad reaching 20 goals in all honesty + sheffers has been picking up knocks.

    Full line up tommorow

I'd opt for the two wing backs gives us more options and I think we'll be playing mainly on the break rather than trying to run the game for the majority of the time. But really does highlight the gaps when you see the squad  striker has to be a priority - you needs goals to survive...

    Andy Thorn on CWR

Well to be honest he's personally in a no lose situation as if we do well - its congratualtions A.T. but if we fail everybody expects it and never mind A.T. you never had a chance as you never had any resources to change the team. Not such a bad position to be in apart from being totally...

Are we really that badly off compared to our rivals?

The View of some pundits: Championship bottom three: Watford, Coventry, Peterborough. Posh will struggle to score the goals they did in League One and Darren Ferguson was found wanting when he stepped up a division with Preston last season, while Coventry don't have a strong enough squad for...

Low Expectations This Season - Maybe I will enjoy it more?

Without investment and drastic changes I fear you could be right about the 12,000

Low Expectations This Season - Maybe I will enjoy it more?

You'll only enjoy it more if we surpass your lower expectations, if the team lives up to your expectations then I doubt if mant fans will be enjoying this season. Don't know if anybody has been reading the season's predcition on Tealtalk but two out of four have so far predicted Coventry...

    Shhhhhhhhh.... Its all so quiet.

Well the Rotherham chairman Tony Stewart has stated Adam Le Fondre, could be available for as little as £500,000 but Coventry although thought to be interested haven't actually made an official offer to date! If this is the cas he won't be signing today!

    two new board members??

It's a strange move for a board considering new investments to introduce two new board members at this stage, unless they're connected to possible new investors. Maybe it will become clear tomorrow or later in the week but sounds like this could be the start of a shale up behind the scenes...

    So come on...

Agree with Marty i think we will be a consistent bottom 6 team all season and hopefully 21st finish!

    Enough is enough!

SISU have continually shot themselves in the foot in regards to their business plan as the reduction in quality reduces chances of promotion and reduces gates as less people will watch poor performances. The only way this club will turn the financial plight around is to purchase the ground -...

    Spot The Odd One Out!

Must admit I wouldn't of thought Burnley would have to sell many players, don't they still receive parachute payments and if they have indeed agreed a fee for Chris Eagles there's going to be a lot of unhappy fans in their camp.
