What important, or great goals have you missed over the years?

It was over sold and dangerous . I was in the left hand corner looking at the pitch and it was rammed. Missed the first ten minuites trying to get in.

What important, or great goals have you missed over the years?

George Thomas Wembley. Was finishing off a pint in the concourse when my mate turned round to me and said we'd better hurry up they've kicked off. My reply was do you really think we're going to score another. And as I finished the sentence came the roar . Then for some strange reason we all ran...

His miss yesterday was unbelievable. I was sat in line with their penalty area and he showed all the signs of a complete nervous wreck in front of goal. I don't think there's a sports psychologist in the country can help this guy. I like him for his contribution as a rule but when he's having a...

    Dale Evans .......

We could end up in a Uriah Heep of trouble if we're not careful. I'll see myself out.

    Peter Reid's book...

He was awful . First game in charge was the last game of the season against Palace at home. He took over from Eric Black. Palace were chasing a play off spot and needed a win. We played them off the park that day to win the game. It was Black's team and Reid's best game in charge. We were never...

    Yeovil Away!

Yes you're correct but different pub. You're thinking of The Airfield ...it's about half a 15 minute walk away and opposite Asda. You walk past a load of car sales places to the ground

    Ex Player Watch

James Maddison followed up a good midweek game by all accounts with another decent display on Sunday. I listened to it on talk sport. They lost to Sunderland but he was lively and tidy as usual. Seems to be making a name for himself. Pissed me off a bit when the commentator kept referring to...

Yes ... with red socks of course and a nice pair of Timpsons royals with a couple of blakeys in the heels

    Can anyone name

Painful memories of that last game of the season. Burnley fans were throwing stones at us from behind the stand and I went to pick a balloon up off the floor and someone stamped on it at the same time. Broke the end of my finger.

Errington would of been 26 then. You sure it wasn't one of his younger brothers ?

    Jim Twynham RIP

I live in Devon now so not sure I can help with that one. Try the Chestnut Tree pub. I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

    Jim Twynham RIP

Jim was a regular poster on here and a good one. I knew him well from my days in the Chestnut Tree when I lived in Cov. We shared many City stories over a few pints and the old local will never be the same when I go back home. RIP mate
