    7th the best!

And 100% would refuse to have the last seven years of shit we have had. On that basis, no one would want to be just like CCFC.

Anyone now thinking that SISU will jack the whole thing in ?

Its not beyond the possible that Wasp's Mr Richardson would work with other investors to have CCFC and Wasps operating within the same company. There is a certain logic that makes running two sporting clubs from the same arena appealing as one counterbalances the other in terms of cash-flow...

How long are you willing to give pressley

On this occasion RFC I fully agree with you. I would add though that we can not just rely on academy developed players. They will need to learn from experienced and capable 'on field' mentors. We have far too few of those and those that could have done this we bombed.

    sisu on the ropes

That's a great point STK, Now you have pointed out the 7 years it is really a signal to what a very poor investment SISU made. With the JR and other stuff that goes with CCFC this mess must be taking a disproportionate amount of time for SISU management . Either that or JS spends no time on it...

    Protest Tuesday

I don't like the idea of a Wasps takeover of ACL, but I just can't see that SISU could afford to outbid them. I think that if the deal goes through we have to try to get the CCC to covenant that CCFC have access at a reasonable rate (CCC are still holding 10% and that will have influence) We...

    sisu on the ropes

How do you know they have access to 'Billions'? I would wager they do not have access at all. I struggle to see why any organisation that has easy access to 'billions' would piss about with an ailing football club and an asset that has no value in the North East of Coventry (Their view as stated...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

I know none of the detail, pretty much like yourself. However 'Commercially viable' is a concept that expands to cover ' Wasps feel they can make a profit from it, CCC & AHT feel that it covers their investment and the Board of ACL feel that it is Viable.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Can'y say that I am happy at all about the thought of Wasps owning ACL. But I have always said the council must not give the rights away to a seriously valuable asset. But the fact is if they get a viable commercial offer, should they not take it. I have not read all of the posts on this long...

    Official complaint about websters goal

I am certain that neither the Referees association nor the FL will come out and make any statement. But SP is right to complain and cause the FL to assess the evidence. If managers do not, then we will be faced with the inexorable decline in standards (And I may be in the minority to say this...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

It has to be seen as wrong for any club be it football or Rugby to abandon its fan base and relocate to another region. We have just had 18 months of hell trying to get our club back so we should at least feel for Wasps fans. The fact that we have a Rugby club trying to make its way is...

Totally agree Ashdown. Every time we are on TV the major feature is the stand with no fans a huge press box and a big wall.

Gillingham Match Thread - The Ricoh Return

I think you are right Hobo...it is the start of a new era. There is no reason why the class of 2014/15 can't go on to be the folklore of the future. I had Carr, Hunt, Glazier, Blockley, Martin and co'. Why should today's player be any different? New era, New future, New heroes for our Young...

may have been posted, but Pressley suggesting boycott triggered ricoh return

It would be the easiest thing on earth to now start to claim a righteous victory over who ever we feel the enemy was. But that will not help us move forward. Lets just rejoice in the fact that we are back home, we can now start to rebuild, we can for the first time in 16 months come together...
