    UTTER SHITE

He has always been the 3rd captain after Kelly and Mcfadz

    Kasey Palmer

At least he knows how we play. I’d far rather we had a top of the box midfield of COH/Allen/Palmer rotating, and use the strikers if not working. Ayari should go back to Brighton in January

Would assume Sheaf will be captain with Kelly, McFadz, Godden, Allen all out of starting XI

Good to see Latibeaudiere in for Thomas. That’s our strongest back 3 currently

Bobby Thomas looks very unconvincing to me as a Championship centre back for a side pushing for top 6. I don’t think he’s any better than McNally or Rose and certainly not Latibeaudiare.

Birmingham match moved to Friday night

First year I’ve ever had a ST, living in London it’s always hard to get up for games. Bought off the back of the brilliance of last season and the season before that. It was basically a pointless exercise and I won’t be bothering again

    Robins' tactics Vs Norwich

Excellent thread. Interesting point he makes at the end about that game being one of the more passive presses Norwich have used under Wagner. I often think (eye test only, zero stats to back it up) that we've struggled against teams with a high pressing intensity - often results in us rushing...

    Midfield crisis

It costs like £500 for a private MRI scan, it's peanuts in the scheme of things I get Kelly probably knows his body better than most in the squad but I find it absolutely bizarre he would turn down a scan

Those last 5 mins after Godden went off were a complete joke 5-4-1, inviting pressure, sat back deep in our half. Really poor from Robins

5 At The Back Needs To Go

There was definitely a more concerted effort from Thomas and Binks in the Huddersfield game to drive forward with the ball from the back when space opened up, which it did in the 1st half as they didn’t bother pressing us We have to be braver with the ball throughout the whole game though...

1st half Huddersfield gave us oceans of space and there was very little pressure on the ball, which means we had way more time to work the ball into the front 2 patiently 2nd half they finally realised if they press us, we end up going long and because the ball isn’t sticking to the front 2...

    Van Ewick Injury

Burnley away last year, we played a sort of 4-4-1-1 with Norton-Cuffy in front of Dabo

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

He averages a goal every 187 mins of Championship football - whatever people's views are on him, that's impressive

Match Thread Hull (A) Friday 15th September

Kelly did a really good job at a crucial time last year He’s still more than good enough as a stand-in, however there is still obviously a Gus-sized hole there next to him Would think Ayari would benefit from playing alongside him for a period, assuming injury chat etc is actually true
