    Unbelievable!!!

The beautiful thing from a Sunderland standpoint is they only have themselves to blame, that Tuesday night before it was all pulled, all they had to do was beat Bristol Rovers and theyd have been sat pretty in 3rd. Now they will finish in (what I believe is their lowest ever league position)...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

No idea but they have been pretty on the point throughout all of this with outcomes of meetings, dates etc

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

One "isn't good news for the EFL" worries me. Would suggest the Prem have come up with something, would tie in with their announcement of start date. No relegation maybe?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

They have been told about the change of regs vote on Monday, she wont have been notified of the L1 outcome vote yet, but will know in her mind that it will be 5 days from the regs vote. She's just trying to be clever with her wording to answer people on twitter. Her attempt to be the NW version...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Great to hear from you and hope that no matter what the outcome your club is still up and running in 12 months time along with the other 72 EFL clubs. Do you think your chairman has left all this a bit late in the day?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Im sure all players will have releagation and promotion clauses in their contracts. They wont however have global pandemic clauses

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I'm sure they will have tried a weighted PPG calculation based on strength of opposition to play but that would have seen them relegated aswell

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Totally agree. I keep seeing comments (mainly from knuckle draggers in the north east I must admit) saying teams should have been more financially prepared. YEs that's right at the start of the season we'll budget for a global pandemic that cuts the majority of our revenue and budget to pay to...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

If I was a Tranmere fan I'd be annoyed they didn't pull their finger out sooner, why not present this 6 weeks ago when nothing was off the table. Like a kid who stays up all night and rushes their homework to get it in for 9am, not realising it should have been done last week.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

They were in good form but had a wretched run of fixtures to play

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I cant understand why the vote couldn't have been done on Friday, it's not like clubs wont have been reviewing each option for the past 6 weeks. Prem and Champ already back in training, playing on becomes less feasible the longer this drags on

This is what it's all about

Took a moment to reflect following the statement yesterday that we are almost back in the championship, these last few years have been what football is all about, up's down's, promotions relegations, shock wins and crushing defeats; travelling near and far in numbers making memories and...

    salary cap proposed

They've been talking about this for months now and it seems like the majority of clubs are behind it. Expect it would be implemented over a number of seasons allowing current contracts to run down

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Isn't that the whole point in testing though, keep them away from team mates so no one else is infected. Think Germany had 10+ before continuing to play? This would have been expected

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Course he has, they're as close to Tranmere as they are to us
