I can see how some people might be misguided into hating the police, but the fire crews and ambulance crews do nothing other than help people, absolutely shocking behaviour, wish the punishment was harsher.
I think that's one of the things that makes football the greatest sport on earth, no chance a 5ft 7 person could be the greatest rugby player or basketball player, but in football in the past 10 years alone we've had 6ft 2 Ibrahimovic, 6ft Ronaldo, 5ft 7 Messi etc all light up the game
totally agree with this, you see a lot of 'we're not a big club anymore' but championship should be minimum standard for a club with this fan base and history.
Hopefully SISU will realise getting us back to the premier league is their best chance of getting some cash so they'll get us promoted...
I'm glad you mentioned this, I've promised myself I'll put £5 on his next team to get relegated. I'm sure I'll be able to cash out around march time for a reasonable lump
Never intentionally watch it, but I was very Impressed by a singer-songwiter called Hayley Bonar who was on there a couple of years ago, did a couple of songs about how she enjoyed her school days and was having to come to terms with getting older - which I thought was very refreshing...
the fact he's only proven in league 2 probably caps it at about 2m, a good season next year and we could probably see 5-8m. presuming this momentum continues I'd rather keep him til we're in the championship and then actually get some proper cash for him
Obviously I'd rather they sell, but if they're not willing to do that then atleast they appear to be taking an interest, who knows, maybe they'll realise that were more profitable when we're winning
I appreciate that a bit of success isn't going to make us forget what SISU have done to the club but today is about the players and a day to enjoy, protests have only soured our performances in the pasf
I'm saying if we don't get up, historically we sell when decent offers come in and since we have such a strong squad right now I'd expect many of them to come under offer from comparstivly big teams.
I'm not being negative, I'm fairly confident we'll go up but what makes us think that in the...
Hardly doom and gloom, but if we don't go up why would they stick around? Are you saying these players wouldn't have reasonable offers from bigger clubs?
I'm surprised so many have disagreed with this, Im not being negative at all but in realistic terms other clubs will be interested and as per...
Think that we'd be hard pushed to keep a starting 11, I'd guess that atleast Burge, Willis, Davies, Stokes, Grimmer, Bayliss, Shipley and McNulty will all have serious interest.
If we don't go up this season I think we'll finish ~12th next year
