Ironically there was a period when MR left 3 up which completely flummoxed the opposition. I don't remember us conceding many goals because of it so not sure why in more recent years he reverted to having everyone back instead.

This is why it was plainly ridiculous to get rid of MR so early in the season. Nobody we bring in will be as qualified as he was to take us forward. We are basically relying on DK getting lucky with the next man he brings in. I can't remember if you were one of the people wanting him out or...

Rudy is slang for a 'rude boy' not someone called Rudy. It's all immaterial anyway as I don't think there's much chance RVN will be the next manager.

Its always dangerous to take a caretaker manager's performance at face value. That's how Thorn got the gig, and many years before, Don McKay. I remember Adrian Heath being caretaker and not being too disappointed that he didn't do well, and therefore didn't become a full time option.

So what do you do? Stop supporting the club without even seeing him manage a game for us, or give him a chance?

No idea if the new manager will be Lampard, but it seems clear that there is no candidate that DK can select that will not outrage a portion of our support. If it is Lampard we as supporters have to get behind him and give him a chance. Previous success (or failure) is not always an indicator of...
