Is it related to the car place that used to be in Cov many years ago? Up by Priestley's Bridge was it? Whatever. Like their style.

That's my assumption, and I'm all for it. Still prefer red/white hoops though.

    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

I really like the sky blue kit (and it's not the first time they've had a sky blue kit) but I still say it should be the club's traditional red and white hoops change. You need a decent contrast against the blues of Bedford, and the green of Ealing and Nottingham, etc., which under the average...

Sweating bondholders dithering. HMRC don't have such constraints.

I'll be there. It'll be interesting to see the Sky Blues taking on Dennis the Menace (especially with Knoxy in their side 😉).

Not me, no. I may have commented about the fact that they could be docked many, many points (as Sarries were a couple of seasons ago) but not be relegated due to the current moratorium on it. However, if the RFU were to regrow the bollocks it once had when they sent Richmond and London Scottish...

    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

They say they still intend to build it, but with a more pragmatic approach now they're not getting a good chunk of it funded from my and your pocket. Something Wasps might be better advised to consider?

    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

It is. And is why Cov are concentrating on the ground rather than the team (budget-wise) for the time being. Pirates realistically don't have a chance of elevation without moving to a footy ground in Devon, especially now the CCC have withdrawn from paying for their new ground (or a substantial...

It's a nice little ground with a very decent clubhouse. Parking very limited, so walk if you can.

Just to be pedantic, Darlington RFC play a couple of miles away. It's Mowden Park that play at the NE Arena. If you'd ever been there you'd know why their average gate is in three figures. It's the coldest place on earth. I think my left testicle is still frozen to one of the seats there.

Not tried the Stella yet. Bit blinkered I guess, but the alco version has, er, connotations. Picked up a few cans of Northern Monk Holy Faith at Morrisons yesterday. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to Faith full strength.

Absolutely. Might need to blag a few months at the CBA while the Butts is built out with the planned apartments, hotel, extra seating and terraces, but yes, that'd suit me nicely!

Oi. Wasps maybe. I've been to Twickenham three times (many many years ago, never again) and I'm an ex dirty stinky milling machine operator, so you can fuck right off with the rest of that. Nicely, of course.
