    Derby points deduction

I think there are 2 groups still talking with the administrators, after one group recently pulled out ? Whoever wins, they will be under pressure from the fans to spend money and make an immediate return....apparently Derby have only spent 4 years outside the top 2 divisions ?

    Derby points deduction

So another 9 points deducted with a further 3 suspended. Pretty much relegated now...just hope their new owners don't spend a fortune to buy the league, and bounce straight back. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59288687

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

Seems the job is a cert for Dean Smith then..no one even close in the betting stakes

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

Newest odds from skybet Frank Lampard - 1/3 Dean Smith - 5/2 Frank was 1-25 at one point, but Dean Smith has come in strong, and lengthened Frank's position as favourite. Personally i think they'd be better with Dean Smith.

    Robins to Rangers?

Fair shout...best way for a manager to resurrect their career, by going to a 2 team league

    Derby points deduction

Regarding the EFL, well...we all know how competent they are (not), and how flexible lax their rules are (our stadium issues come to mind) Maybe the EFL hoped Derby would get promoted (in fact they almost were) and the problem would go away ?

    Derby points deduction

No sympathy from me - they overspent massively, tried to cheat and hide it, and got caught - the points deductions are deserved, and good riddance (it's personal - i used to get 'shit' from an old, smug, Derby supporting mate, so it's schadenfreude for me this time buddy) I often hear people...

    What if…?

Yes, he and Peter Taylor had agreed terms with Derek Robbins, but wanted 24 hours to tell the Derby chairman. Apparently Clough then requested a further 2 weeks to think about it further, but Cov got the feeling he was messing them around and eventually withdrew the contract.

If i were Norwich, i think Dean Smith would be an excellent choice, but clearly they already had someone in mind, hence the Farke sacking after that weekend win. I rate Smith and think he was hard done by, but hey, let's hope they employ a really crap manager next.

    Mitrovic £100k a week

Strikers will always be at a premium - it seems you're as good as guaranteed goals with a fit Mitrovic in this league. 100k is a bit crazy though. Weren't Swansea paying Ayew 80k last season - now that is nuts ?

Could that someone be David O'Day ? He seems to be in the know 🤡

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

With Wilder now at 'Boro, Lampard is 1-2 for Norwich and 6-1 for villa

Same here...i don't think it will happen, but dismissing the possibility would be foolish, because if it then happened, you would look like a 🤡

tbf they do have a captive audience though, being the only big team in their county

Where's David O'Day 🤡 , when you need him ? His savant abilities and vast knowledge of football would be really useful now. Weird though...he seems to have gone missing from any threads mentioning Norwich ?? Where are you kid ?

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

And everyone thought Wilder was nailed on for Middlesboro...looks like Norwich are going to try and steal him from their grasp. Would be an excellent appointment imho

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

Well, look who has egg on his face now, kid ? Are you going to admit you were wrong, or perhaps maybe you will 'double down' ? The fact that he was sacked, despite winning today, clearly shows that this wasn't a knee jerk reaction, but something the board had planned.

I hope that those who are usually critical of his play, have the decency to write something good about him tonight...seems only fair
