    Good luck with that.

    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

Oh, don't get me wrong. I totally agree that Stour members will probably turn it down. If not, they fully deserve the shite that'll fall on their heads. I always liked Stour as a club, and have enjoyed a few games at their ground, and they have Cov links too (currently, and through quite a few...

Apparently, the actual reason was no safety certificate available for the 5000 initial requirement. No idea if that's true, but that's from someone who supports Ealing.

Yeah, cos nobody told them that was a requirement? Idiots.

Far more so than the CBS n'est ce pas? That was the point I was making. Renting at the CBS vs renting at Sixways. The latter makes far more sense.

No doubt Stourbridge will benefit, although it's leaving it late for them to avoid relegation.

Not if they get their putrid claws into Sixways. Ideal for them size-wise, and a rugby market.

While I'd detest all else that that precipitates, at least it gets them further away from Cov. So not ALL bad. Biggest downside is that they'll ultimately get the RFU Academy for South Warks should they get back to the Prem.

    Weird league table anomolies

Apropos of not much at all... I note that Rugby Town's old ground on Bilton Road, which was owned by the Co-op, who chucked them out many, many years ago allegedly because they wanted to sell it for housing development... has now been sold for development and has been called Knox Court...

    Tennis elbow

I've had tendinitis in my upper arm (both) on and off for many years. I just live with it as it tends to come and go. Ibuprofen can help though (but gives me the shites if I'm on it for long so try to do without more than a couple of doses! Yeah. Too much information.)

Great pic at Highfield road - was it you ?

I started on less than that in 1970 (But I WAS an oik apprentice...)

    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

Not at the moment, but very easily can be made so. It's not far below the interim requirement of 5000 (and I've heard JS quote it at 5000, so maybe he knows something that nobody else does. He owns the club and lease after all).

    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

Wouldn't it just. Although I'm not sure trying to compete at Prem level without a mega-rich sugar daddy is doable (with the current rfu/prl/cvc rabble in charge at least). That way lies pain.

Great pic at Highfield road - was it you ?

Yeah. Pedantry is very unbecoming 😉 Leaving school in 1970 dropped me right in it too, but the good thing is, like you I guess, I can think simultaneously in £sd and £p, and also metric/Imperial. More useful than it sounds.

They shoulda got there earlier. Me and my mate were near the front of the queue for the covered end long before the gates opened.

    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

There's a decent chance, but much depends on the RFU pillocks making up their minds. JS has pledged to bung a further substantial sum (can't really say how much on here) to fund it if the stars align. The West Stand development has also been temporarily shelved (with a temporary seated and...

Yes, sorry, I meant 22.4 pence. Duh! 😁 Ignore me. I'm high on good results.
