Two signings and we’re fine:
1) Ball-playing, press resistant 6. Surely Man City have a midfielder in their development squad we can spend a few million on to learn from Sheaf.
2) A young striker with real pace. Loan or permanent.
I think we're fine for box-to-box options with Rudoni, Eccles, Torp, Palmer and Allen if we're desperate. That's 5 players for 2 positions.
Another elite ball-playing 6 would be delightful. Someone who can dictate the tempo.
Completely agree with this. Turning the Assistant Manager role into Head of 1st Team Training is definitely a way of making sure that if/when the manager goes there's one less person who will go with him.
fair, those prices are outrageous. £8 for rices and chow meins at my local in Kent now. Still crave the Allesley House pancake rolls, not found a place in the entire country yet that does them as good.
Ah yes because what that England attack desperately needed was another left footer who cuts in off the right.
Saka, Foden, Palmer and Bowen just wasn't enough.
There's no good YouTube compilation on him but from the scattered highlights I found it seems like he's a good one-touch passer under pressure which is exactly what we need in midfield. I love midfielders who can get the ball while being pressed and not panic.
According to FotMob he was one of...
The pricetag of Sanches could've just been too steep. The initial reports were quoting £4m and that's more than we paid for Rudoni who is less of a risk.
