Fair enough. I think sacking Robins was a costly mistake driven by unnecessary panic and pessemism. I think the same thing about Lampard now. We aren't as bad a side as people keep claiming, and far more time needs to be allowed in these situations.

I agree, but would add the need for a high quality left back. Everything on this forum lately seems to be based on the idea that the squad is terrible. It's not. We are stuttering at least in part because the recruitment wasn't completed in the summer.
