    Sbitc skills challenges

If you are looking for some football skills challenges (for kids or yourself) go on sbitc Twitter (or follow link from club website). Few players having a go and posting - mcfadz, Jones, Baka, Kelly and mason. My lad is out trying to beat the getting ball into the air challenge.

    Postponements & Loan Players

Other teams would have the same issues with loan players. We don't have many, ccfcway is right about possible replacements.

    Coventry city badge wall sticker?

That does look good. Hope ours looks similar!

    Coventry city badge wall sticker?

Will do - probably a week or so away, as I've been told I've got to repaint room first (another coat of sky blue!).

    Coventry city badge wall sticker?

Another big shout out to Moseley signs! After the game was cancelled, they then sent it via post, and it's arrived today. Great work.

    Non League teams

Enjoyment and fun should be key for young players. Kids at eight given sheets to monitor diets and regular training with limits to game time / other sports with friends has a real impact socially for them. I still 'play' a few times a week in my mid forties and love it. You hear and see...

    Non League teams

We have a different problem here in Somerset - grassroots play on a Saturday morning (apparently so they don't clash with Sunday morning rugby), so players who have been in grassroots team can switch to jpl at under 11, resulting in a drop at grassroots! And...the jpl teams (either...

    Non League teams

Thanks walsgrave - a very thorough comparison! As you mention, from what I can see, it should be about player development and enjoyment, very few of these kids will end up playing for a living, as those players are already at academies...though I guess the dream is still on. In an area with...

    Non League teams

Have to admit, I had to Google mjpl (I did guess it would be that!). Not hoping to divert this thread....but how does it compare? Down in the southwest, just not enough players/population to support academy, localised jpl (is Somerset jpl) and grassroots, which is why the jpl around here can...

    Non League teams

Not all levels. I think a lot of jpl and youth teams of professional clubs are off. Grassroots/Junior football is still on, depending on the county fa. Somerset fa are still playing.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

If the season was extended / delayed, how would this work with contracts (etc)? Don't the contracts usually end around 1st June?

    Coventry city badge wall sticker?

Great idea alfagt! Super service from Moseley signs. They have just emailed me to confirm I can collect the poster (free of charge) at the game on Saturday. My son is very happy! Thanks also ccfc1979.

Match Thread Ipswich v Coventry Match Thread

I'm hopeful, but worried. Too much confidence for my liking! I'm expecting/hoping for an edgy one nil to city.

Good idea...except the link is from a bcfc fan!

Coventry City - 1993 Home Shirt

The third kit is great....but I really like the home kit best. I had the original Hummel shirt, probably my favourite (or, for nostalgia, the Terry Gibson glazepta shirt as it was the first I had)! Or maybe.... We've had some great kits.

Impact on Local Businesses of CCFC Move to Birmingham

I haven't received my salary from Sisu this month....better have it soon or I'll sing Sisu out!

Impact on Local Businesses of CCFC Move to Birmingham

Good points, especially about the city fans who don't live in Coventry. I still visit relatives, but don't stay as long, visit shopping area (Tesco arena park), food outlets or car parking. Less likely to use a petrol station in Coventry, when I've come Somerset to Brum!
