I thought Simms just looked like he needs minutes, and that seemed validated by him playing the full match. His positional play and instincts seemed sharp, but it felt like he was just slow to get moving and his short passes not quite dialled in. I didn’t realise before seeing him in the flesh...

I can’t decide if the very long goodbye after todays game means he is definitely going or definitely staying but it is definitely one of the other, probably.
