You don't have to pop it. I am not saying he has ruptured it.

Terrible officiating but we also didn't do ourselves any favours by slowing the tempo so much. As soon as we stepped it up again, we scored. Van Erwijk injury is a worry, as well as Mason-Clark

Torp took his goals so well. Grimes has been phenomenal.

So why have they stated it at 3pm, up to 2 months prior?! They should just have TBC

Surely the league could have decided the early kick off before now?! Very annoying. Have to rearrange travel plans.

    Rudoni injury

Not from what I have seen in his two cameos. He looks very lightweight and not wanting to defend. For me, it would be Torp or Allen.

Will having Haji Wright back throw us off?

I think his best performances are on the left but I think we would be more solid defensively with him in the centre, where he can be relieved of tracking back. Not sure Paterson will get a look in though when Wright is fit, nor Raphael.

Maybe so. Possibly a result of the tactics. However, both were slow to close down crosses, were caught out positionally time after time and at times (particularly Van Erwijk) were ambling back into position.

Dausch scoring only goal of the game for St Alban's; Obikwu scoring earlier for Grimsby and Tavares scoring for Burton, though it looks like he went off injured.

Thought the subs made a difference. Allen stuck with Bannon, Bidwell defended and Mason-Clark gave them something to worry about. That was the type of performance from Simms that I have hoped for. Great battling and should have had a hattrick

Such an uncomfortable watch but what a terrific result.

Player of the season so far

I agree with Rudoni and Dovin. Rudoni shades it for me just because of him being present throughout the season but that will shift the more games Dovin plays. Both have been excellent additions.

    Binks and Dasilva

Near the end DaSilva was left defending a cross v 2 big guys at the back post. Not sure how we allowed that to happen. He is always going to be targeted due to his size. I thought he used the ball well, showed an excellent first touch and put a lovely cross to Tats. Binks was hugely important...
