He dived in a bit but not 100% red for me - looked like feet were initially up but don't think hugely dangerous. Feel for the lad, 19 and only played a few first-team games.

Agree with this completely. What’s potentially overlooked is that Wilson was, in my opinion, very lucky not to be sent off in his first game replacing Moore (Preston?) which would have seen it all come crashing down very quickly.
