    Fisher on CWR

No I wouldn't have budgeted any different to be honest. However having set up the deal based on breakeven 11k attendances that sets the cost base and if they are not hitting that figure they are now losing money and cash flow on the deal.

    Fisher on CWR

we are apparently financially stable and TF &co have sorted out the finances to a point that we are cash flow positive - what does cash flow positive actually mean when TF spouts it? this week, this month this year? what about the future? - at the moment the club cash flow has benefitted from...

    Fisher on CWR

it will no doubt take a battering and not be great later in the season. But it is the same for both teams. however yesterday it wasn't that bad and one of the teams was able to play a decent level of committed and skillfull football ............. sadly it wasn't us

    Fisher on CWR

I have to say I did like the direct approach taken by Lorna Bailey ...... asked a lot of the questions that fans would put to TF Aside from the talk of investment being reduced to Ryton being like a snooker table and that we now have lots of fancy gadgets to measure performance..... the one...

    Fair play to worcester

They thoroughly deserved their victory on the day and were not flattered by the scoreline. Good luck to them I hope the cup run helps solve some of their financial worries

    Presssley

The day started poorly and got worse Was in the stadium early and saw the two keepers warming up with oggy .... neither looked confident, both dropped simple catches and the kicking was average at best, some was awful. The Worcester lads came out as a team and warmed up as a team, there was a...

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

not without the prior written consent of AEHC no..... PWKH (clerk to the Trustees of AEHC) confirmed that a long time back

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

As CCFC fans of course we should support it not sure how we have a choice otherwise to be honest They have to put in similar things that could have been offered to a charity, the bid has to look right whether you believe it to have been serious or not However you then have to look at what is...

Tim Fisher reveals details of Ricoh bid

Point taken and agreed think it might be even simpler than that though - it might be that AEHC do not think it is the best deal for them

Tim Fisher reveals details of Ricoh bid

ACL or indeed AEHC/Wasps will not object if it is in their interests not to ......... which has nothing at all to do with whether it is in the best interests of CCFC the various interests might of course coincide but would you bet your mortgage on it?

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

I think it is an attempt at giving the Charity a reason to do the deal with them, based on the assumption that Wasps must have offered something similar. The offer never was going to be just about the cash value. I would guess it would also help the Charity form an argument on value that needs...

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

I am very concerned that both this bid and the "new stadium" will amount to nothing ........... ok CCFC have a rent deal for 2+2 years but then what?

Tim Fisher reveals details of Ricoh bid

in which case if it is from Otium I wonder if rather than refinancing CCFC Ltd and having to pay out money that they claim beneficial ownership of the option in the same way they did with the golden share. Perhaps they could argue they acquired the rights to it when they paid out the £1.5m to...

Tim Fisher reveals details of Ricoh bid

Has it been made clear who has actually made/put the bid to the liquidator? SISU or SBS&L or Otium or another SISU entity?

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

I assume that you are referring to s236 Insolvency Act 1986 ( http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1986/45/section/236 ) which relates to the dealings of the company in liquidation and the assets and liabilities of that company. I assume that you believe SISU would be relying on this particular...

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

Isn't the offer self defeating? It is conditional on the Charity making available to SISU via the liquidator confidential documents relating to ACL. Do AEHC have right to even retain such information? I doubt that AEHC has a right to divulge any of the information without the express authority...

    Sad state of affairs

My own experience has been that the CCFC scouting of young players has been pretty poor over the years even when invited. Have seen players pulled in by Walsall whilst CCFC dithered.!! There is far too much pressure placed on youngsters. I am all for them learning the skills and improving...

Do footballers really need a manager ?

No ........... generally judging by the Premiership etc they need their mummy quickly followed by their agents ............... :thinking about:

    Could Otium

Sorry Don but I have to agree with other posters here that a merger between the two is unlikely to be either the solution or a good solution. Understandably CCFC fans see it from a Sky Blue perspective but the key is to see it from the perspective of the other parties. How do they benefit - it...
