It really should be a sell-out.

    Death List 2024

Houch, I really feel for you. However, I too am ancient (71 ;) ) but have fairly recently taken delivery of this lump of a two-year old Segugio/GS cross. She's a Cyprus rescue, having spent much of those two years in a cage. I too had great reservations about taking on a new mutt after losing...

    Cov Rugby 2024 - 2025

Cov lead 26-5 at half time, coming back from an early try. Bonus point already in the bag, and some great defence late on to hold Tigers out. Of course, Will Wand got the opening try for Leicester. It was written in the stars.

Couple of bus-loads booked, but there'll be a lot travelling by car, being so close. Impossible to say how many, but they'll make themselves heard.

Yes, more aways than homes in this phase. However, more homes during the second stage. Mind you, they'll be looking forward to Welford Road. Shame about Richman's injury though.

    Things that make you happy

I have zip interest in 'hockey', but my mate and his missus who live the other side of Banbury have recently taken to travelling up and supporting the Blaze, and rave about it, so I guess they're doing something right.

    New cars

Y'know, I have no idea what our bit of Radford was called, but it was just behind the showroom and up a set of very dingy concrete stairs. Long demolished of course. We moved to the GEC block (upstairs to the right of the main entrance stairs).

    New cars

I was at Radford to start with; then Browns Lane, Whitley, and finally a very short spell at Gaydon before VR and early (56) retirement. All Service Dept based. I'm very happy to get my monthly Jag Pension (and BMW Pension - previous employment at Climax; it's a convoluted process!), and wild...

    New cars

I love autos (proper autos, not that DSG shite) having driven many through working for Jag for thirty years until I retired 12 years ago. However, I've never owned one as 'er indoors didn't want one... until early this year, ironically because the dragon decided she wanted one! The reason? Her...

Match Thread Coventry City - Luton Town Match Thread - Saturday 26th Oct

Just got in (maybe 20 mins ago...) and read through this thread, not knowing the final score. Bumpy ride. Covcraig@Bury definitely Man of the Match.

    What Books Are You Reading?

Have read just about all of James' output. Superb. Mark Billingham's stuff, similar genre, is worthwhile too. Peter Robinson (loads of them) are decent, if slightly 'gentler' than the aforementioned, and are also worth a go. And if you fancy a slight change of style, any (all!) from John Grisham...
