What stats are those? The ones that are masses of 5 yards backwards and sideways passes? He's only played about half the games for a start!

If he's off there's little point playing him anyway. But generally he doesn't help the team's best style of play which is higher tempo and quickly using wide players. He also doesn't help protect the somewhat shaky defence enough.

He really isn't 'an incredible talent at this level'. He has a certain poise which impresses some but actually his output is bang average. At this point he'd be lucky to get in our pretty average midfield.

Sheaf ain't it. He's had plenty of game time this season and we're clearly better without him.

I just hope he can bring a bit more than Sheaf. Play at a higher tempo, be a bit quicker, thread more forward passes, tackle a bit harder, cover the defence a bit better. If he's a Sheaf MK2 I'll be a bit disappointed. But absolutely we need more quality, experience and a calm head central...

Sell Sheaf and get in someone with solid experience who can play an aggressive higher tempo game. Id keep the others.

Sheaf just slows us down significantly. Holding the ball and passing it 10 yards sideways or backwards doesn't give us much. Last night we quickly got it wide and used the route 1 option rather than a snail like pointless build up that lets the opposition get organised. Sheaf also lacks pace...

I wouldn't put Sheaf back in. Too slow and poor at tackling. Just drags our tempo down. We are so much better playing quicker.

We definitely played with more speed and aggression. Allen has been a real upgrade on Sheaf in that (who'd have thought?). Allen and Torp really dug in and supported that back line. We did look short at the back, Thomas for Lati earlier might have helped. Although Lati did help midfield well...

Dovin has made a huge difference. No doubts we would have lost that game last night without him. Thomas for Lati must be a serious option. Bidwell is far more solid than dasilva. And Allen has brought more than Sheaf in terms of aggression and speed to help cover the defence. He has worked...

It's been good to see us playing quicker and with more grit throughout the team. Still lots of quality issues but there's good signs of team work and team spirit coming.

What's positive is we are generally fighting for it. Torp much improved. MVE still frightening.

Simms and BTA need to offer far more. Simms just not involved and BTA can't control or pass the ball.
