At that rate of progress it could be some time then 😂. I think with players making progress and players coming back from injury we don't need him.

Yes we would because of the product. But to real fans? Would they stay we us? In the seventies despite being in the top flight our fan base was brittle if not fickle.

    Next Season

No. The teams coming down will still be strong The likes of Birmingham and Wrexham potentially coming up - they may not be top 6 material but I suspect will be competitive and able to hold their own. In recent seasons a section of our fans have rubbished the chances of the like of Burnley...

Our fans melt down at the occasional loss or bad run. Imagine losing every week - they couldn't cope. By the time we got relegated we would be back to the 10-11,000 die hards.

    Pato

Considering he has been training with us some time, Ipswich would have been a good game to involve him in, even if off the bench. Not convinced myself.

It was from using woad so I think experts would have an idea. No doubt they could produce different shades. But the True Coventry Blue wasn't about the shade, I think it was more about how colour fast it was and didn't fade.

I love the fact we are now the Sky Blues and feel it is part of our identity. But over the years we have had some terrible washed out and insipid shades of Sky Blue.

Sky Blue has only really been our colour since 1962. Some earlier kits featured Sky Blue along with darker blues. Here are samples of Coventry Blue from the Weavers House in Coventry.

Match Thread Coventry City vs Leeds United - Match Thread - Weds 5th Feb 7.45pm KO

Leeds were just a better side. Kept the ball well and some great creative play. Still plenty to play for. Grimes looked class and brings something to the table we have been lacking.

Yes we need to compete and have a positive mindset. But any points gained will be bonus points. A defeat wouldn't be a disaster. But we at least need to see a performance to keep the momentum going.

Kept our players. Made a very good signing. Sent two out on loan who needed to go out on loan. Brought two back to assess and in positions we might be able to utilise even if it is just on the bench. A good window I think. No reason why we can't keep progressing with what we have got.
