Not picking individually on you Hadji's Goatee in any way but you've just proved beyond doubt that SBT posters will argue on just about everything! :)

It's all a bit bland compared to the days of 'dial a sub', 'Orange Ken on the bench', "'the mascot's fat and a bad example to children'.....'it's a fucking elephant Onye'"....... "marquee signings"....."instant success with Reidy and Inchy"....'the Bald Eagle will support Roland with his...

To be honest PUSB; that's what all of the tw@ts on here claim when they are called out on their nonsense.

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

54 pages. Zero signings. It's going to be a very long close season on Sky Blues Talk :)

    Play-offs

Strangely no - like most people on here I don’t spend my time compering quizzes in Blackpool for low to middle management.

Now if only those go karts had been taxis - you’d have absolutely loved the place and been in your element eh 😀

    Pivotal Sky Blue Moments

Got to disagree Travs. Taking us down with the talent and money at his disposal - continuously failing to improve in key positions during his seasons in charge - it was simply poor management with dire consequences. To be fair to Strachan it was his first managerial post - should never have...

    Pivotal Sky Blue Moments

Agree and you could say he did the same with us; huge marquee signing in McAllister (£3 million was a very very big sum of money in 1996) whilst completely ignoring the defence or even finding the right midfield combination to allow McAllister to perform. In McAllister's first game - Liam Daish...

    Pivotal Sky Blue Moments

Recent history: Notts County away. Max's second goal after 20-30 minutes of continuous pressure from County after half time with the tie in the balance was one of our most important goals in recent history. If you look at the respective clubs today in terms of League position - that game was...

Agree with all of that in terms of what's happened pre-Robins. Today though we have a far more professional management/scouting team today i.e. Kyle was clearly a panic buy by Adams (not Kyle's fault that) but I'm sure that Robins has advanced plans b and c if a certain player leaves.

Grimmer’s goal for me - the perfect Wembley goal in front of the Sky Blue ranks - will always live in my memory.

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

How long before there's a panic thread about the lack of new signings and predictions of relegation by December. Happens every close season on SBT :)

    Club Legends

I agree with the first 3. Strachan was absolute class on the pitch (even at the age of 38) but was the manager who got us relegated despite having millions - he did not make the necessary changes to evolve the team year over year (if only we'd had a manager like Robins back then). Keane...

    Club Legends

Ian Wallace has to be there; 58 goals in 130 appearances vs. Dion's 61 in 145. Both legends. Jim Blyth; 10 seasons with us and if the move to United had gone through he would have been the world's most expensive keeper. Agreed on Borrows as a legend and should have played for England but Mick...

Kenny Jackett. If only we’d got that taxi for Robins.

    Club Legends

Yes on the managers. And for the historians out there - Harry Storer. Players more difficult for me in terms of how we define legend - appearances/club records/impact?

    Matty James

No - and what a stupid question. But I know how these things work in terms of investors and accountability for returns. 4th time of asking - since Joy has no interest in who the manager is - why did she bother meeting our manager for lunch? Surprised she even know who he was as he was...

    Matty James

Simple question you have now failed to answer 4 times - why did Joy meet with Robins? And as she ultimately has responsibility to her investors for the performance of their investment in CCFC - do you seriously think she has no say in such a key appointment i.e. the manager? Clueless, totally...
