    Summer Transfer Window

Yeah and I think Lampard will be willing to do that. How many games did we play in the last couple of months were we didn't look great but still got the win. Hopefully if we go up he'll put looking good to one side and just focus on the best way to get a result.

    Summer Transfer Window

I think one of our biggest assets if we go up is Lampard. In the interviews I've seen with him he seems very pragmatic in his approach, willing to amend his style of football to a team or league. He's not a Russell Martin who sticks to one way of playing regardless if it's successful or not. His...

I get what your saying regarding Wright, but if he goes away with the USA team and plays some minutes, it might shake off a bit of the ring rust he is suffering at the moment. Could be a blessing in disguise.

Simon Jordan and Doug having a chat about decks

They had a option to turn the 15% sell-on fee to 10% if they paid a certain amount at the end of his first season in Portugal. Which is what they did.

Spotting fellow Cov fans in the wild

I went to the sanctuary festival that was put on in some bowl near Bournemouth a few years after the place closed. It was a disaster with torrential rain all weekend, systems failing due to the damp and the toilets were flooded after the first night. It never happened again. I also did club...

Spotting fellow Cov fans in the wild

The main reason I hate MK Dons is for the destruction of The Sanctuary to build their crappy stadium. That was an awesome place..

    Players coming through

That's why I believe our academy is actually very successful, but we just don't see the fruition of the work as top clubs nick our players at around 16. Nearly every summer we lose at least 1 young player to a premier league club. Now not all of them would have made the break through here but...

    Players coming through

That's a real shame for the lad. Hopefully he'll come through it, or goes on to play lower league football and works his way back up once his body has had time to strengthen.

    Players coming through

Wasn't Isaac Moore really highly thought of? But then, I think, he had a string of injuries that have held him back. Also the instant we seem to have a good youngest at 16 the likes of man city nab them up for pennies, so no surprise really that we don't see players coming through at that age.
