Wright looks like he’s well off the pace too. Strikers both anonymous so far.

I read somewhere that Derby have 10 players out.

I do feel a bit for Sheaf, especially if its a reoccurrence of his calf trouble. I have a dodgy calf myself and have had a niggle with it for 5 months now. Sometimes you just get a natural weak point and it won’t go away. No good to CCFC though 🤔

    Blocks 2 & 3

I’m sure they are singing over there but I don’t think the rest of us can here it near to the corner because of the racket coming from all around us.

    Best attendances since 1970

And to think some clowns were taking serious SISU’s proposals to build us a 12,000/15,000/20,000 stadium…..One they were just lying wankers and two we would now be locking out 7000–10,000 fans out every week. Lets be honest, I doubt Frank Lampard would have come near us either. Thank fuck we got...

    Blocks 2 & 3

Not sure quite what all the fuss is about with extending Singers corner. The excitement of winning 9/10 has already done that. We are in block 17 and can quite clearly see that on a day like Saturday people were singing from block 10 all the way round to block 20.

    The Run Ins

I dont think Blackburn or Watford will be good enough, probably not Millwall either. Think its between us, WBA, Brizzle and Boro. Bristol have some tough away games. If we beat Derby it will be massive, we may have to accept a few draws just after that. West Brom at home will be key to this though.

    Looks like we’ve ….

I saw at least one away game at the Baseball ground many moons ago. I’m sure we were winning 2-0 and managed to lose 3-2 🤦‍♂️

    Middlesbrough last game

You’re a bit obsessed and therefore an odd character. Loved that last goal frenzy and a good day out in the Holy city. I still say its not healthy for lots of people including us to be out on the town at 9.30am . Its way too early and actually creates all sorts of issues with guys slaughtered...

    Match Thread Home game atmosphere

Mega celebrations like that are only usually in evidence when you are playing a game where you are not expected to win or you’ve won a game at the death that you thought you’d blown. Ecstasy !

Match Thread Coventry City - Stoke City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Mar

What a finish, heart rate through the roof, getting too old for all this excitement. Referee bottled it the prick but oh the…..your not singing anymore was very sweet 🩵🩵👍

It isn’t all about atmosphere. It’s as much about tradition, travel, pre game beers with friends (that often don’t happen with that kick off time now ), what to do with the rest of the day. It’s just my opinion, which is what a forum is all about. I appreciate it might suit some others better...

Manchester United fans in WT 92/93

That was probably the year they were all round the ground. Somehow they managed to get tickets everywhere. It was a big game for them with Fergies young guns closing in on the title.

I’ll be there, I don’t take Tablets but with the prospect of this shit going forward and living in Spain half the year I’m out….Love City, hate dependency on this SKY wank…fuck em !

    Middlesbrough last game

Its not fucking nonsense, if we were 16th it would be utter bollocks down there. Fuck SKY , its about enjoyment and camaraderie and I was happier watching the likes of Mick Ferguson, Tommy Hutchison, Cyril Regis and Darren Huckerby all usually at 3 pm on a Saturday! ‘Grown up enough ‘ …self...

No season tickets for us next year, we miss quite a few anyway but sick to death of these sterile fucking 12.30 kick offs !

Match Thread Coventry City - Stoke City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Mar

I’d like to see Torp back in the frame. Rudoni will be a big miss with his desire to get forward and create. I’m a bit concerned his absence will leave our midfield too ponderous and prone to slowly passing sideways and backwards. We need to get all over Stoke or they will get the point they are...

    Middlesbrough last game

I appreciate the reasons and the money factor but it doesn’t stop me from resenting losing a nice slow relaxed build up to kick off. Having made our way to Cov early had a Wetherspoons breakfast and a pint or two …..after the game feels odd as you go back into town with all the shoppers in the...
