I don't think its that simple, Players may have to isolate and miss games if they have been in close contact with a confirmed case. If they then later test positive I think the clock starts again and so 10 days is just a minimum. No idea about odividuals

Yes when giving a positive result the instruction is to do nothing for the isolation period of 10 days, not even jump on an exercise bike if you are asymptomatic

It’s not just the players missing for games when they have COVID , it’s the ten day isolation with no physical work at all that puts them all weeks behind. Particularly in the middle of preseason
