Biamou still has lots to offer

I think Biamou is the Heskey to our Owen - Godden. Maybe Godden likes playing with Max. G, what's your response to Irish Sky Blues post about Biamou?

    Match Thread Nottingham Forest

I think that we should guard against thinking we'll win because Forest have had a poor start. Reading will have been licking their lips coming to SA on Friday night after the start both clubs had had. This will be a tough game. A point would be a good result (although not ideal).

No need to apologise...everything you said was spot on. I think I purposely swerve this place more when the Samaritans number is on speed dial for many. Total overreaction forgetting what MR has achieved in his time here. Like I said though, no need to get mega excited after last night. It was...

And not only that...I still think we've been behind the curve as 21 other teams have played more football than us this year. Our match sharpness is coming back and it'll continue to get better.

Totally agree CVD. But in the same way I wasn't panicking after the last few games, I'm not getting overly excited by this.

Looking at this logically after some sleep

Yeah this. I think our long Covid break has affected the way we can compete in this league. Everyone (pretty much) was raving about how well we did in L1 - we had great players, a great manager and great tactics. That doesn't change in the space of few months. Yes we don't have Walsh but we've...

    Match Thread Middlesbrough

This is going to be a tough game but we'll have a good squad for it. I still think the fact that we had a few months off for Covid compared to 21 other teams in this league, is going to affect us for a little while longer.

    Tony Mowbray

Stop clutching at straws G and just admit you're wrong on something. I said on my original post that I had counted Robins twice. Hes managed in two separate periods with different squads so should be counted twice. It doesn't matter if Sillett and Curtis were together...every manager has an...

% wins as manager of CCFC: Mark Robins (1st time) - 51.52% Harry Storer - 47.18% Eric Black - 45.45% Mark Robins (this time) - 44.64% Jimmy Hill - 44.33% Roland Nillson - 44.19% Iain Dowie - 40.82% John Sillett - 40.78% So, like I said, Dowie is 7th in the CCFC list of managers by win % and is...

7th actually (counting MR twice) and he's about on a par with Sillett.
