Phew...glad that's over. Made a mediocre Oxford side look good at times. Defence was...not great. Attack was decent, and 3 goal + pen is a good haul. Didn't have confidence in Ellis on pen if i'm being honest...short run up and soft shot ensued. At least it's a win, and results went our way...

We're actually the 2nd best team in the league over the last 6,8,10 and 12 league games (per soccer stats)...the Leeds game being the fly in the ointment.

Interesting/surprising to hear Frank say on CET website that the club have an additional year option on Sheaf's June 2026 ending contract. That's the first i've heard of it, but it should hopefully...

I think i'm right in saying that Sunderland have a Cat 1 academy (elite), and we have a Cat 2, so they will almost certainly attract better youth talent. It's something which Doug and Frank will surely want to pursue in the medium term.
