you can clearly see why we pursued him so hard cut out the silly disciplinary bits, which he’ll soon do, without losing the aggression, and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s there before too long (hopefully with us)

I have to agree with this - he is very one dimensional definitely can do a job against a lower level team just sat in the midfield, but with little pace now and little willing to look or move forward he’ll definitely not be as effective against anybody half decent

Eccles had one of the best, if not THE best game I’ve seen him play this season I think

Callum O Hare has been pretty uninspiring since he’s been on… poor passing, weak on the ball, I’m not angling at a ‘taking it easy’ comment, he’s just not looked on it at all

if Eccles can play RWB well, surely he could translate that into playing RW?

leave O’Hare on the bench - Palmer looks like he’s enjoying himself and might even get a goal or two to boost his confidence, he’s likely our main 10 next year so give him all the minutes he needs
