Doing a good job of demoraliseing our fans

The main issue is that A&S would want to have their mounted division available for both matches (as LG says we're a higher risk away team). Just hire your minibus on the Sunday, and get over it!

End of story, in my view.

    2600 in A&S vs 5700 in WMP

Different divisional commands - other than Villa Park and St. Andrews, but they clearly didn't think it was a problem!

If you go by car or minibus, why would you moan about the price of a train ticket on the Sunday being £58? EDIT: FWIW it's the same price on the Saturday, so i really don't know where you are going with that argument either! Rovers' ground is a fucking nightmare to get to by train - was much...

Because WMP's assessment of the risks allowed it. Wolves and Villa would be allowed because they are in different divisional commands. They could also call in additional resource from Cov (while there are no games going on there), West Mercia and Warwickshire.

45??? Seriously??? Assumed he was older than me at 55! Always had him down as a bit of a wanker!

Avon & Somerset Police will not allow City and Rovers to play their home games on the same day. No different to any other big city like Brum, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool or Nottingham. And as others have said, the certainty of the City-Shrews tie would give that priority. It doesn't matter...

    New Labour Leader

I think in 2017, within a year of the referendum, people genuinely thought that Corbyn and Labour might be able to offer some genuine opposition to May and Brexit. But all he did in the subsequent two years was to snipe and whinge and moan about what the Tories were doing, and came up with...

    Liverpool Fixture Clash

Who gives a fuck about the world club cup? Liverpool should be fined by the FA for bringing the (English) game into disrepute!

    Things that annoy you

Abso-fucking-lutely. Hate it - it's an Americanism that has infiltrated our language, not helped by the vast number of authors who are "self-publishing", e.g. on Amazon, and who have an American copy editor!

Shame they only got 11 MPs elected then.

Yeah, and Labour, LibDems and Greens all said they would increase borrowing by £90-£100 billion a year for the term of the parliament to pay for their schemes.

    Wasps downward spiral...

They lost 75-21 to Worcester in the Premiership Shield, the competition for 2nd XV sides. Can't even be bothered to put a side out for that! As for the end to relegation/promotion, while the current Prem clubs may want Newcastle back in the fold, I doubt very much that they would want a club...

One name who will you take pleasure

Any one of the "Change" MPs who jumped ship mid-term (and didn't trigger an immediate by-election). Thankfully ALL of them lost their seats when they stood. Soubry and Umunna best of all!

    Measuring The Tories

Don't know if you noticed about three weeks ago it was being reported that some utility companies (SSE and National Grid) had started setting up holding companies offshore, including Switzerland and China, to ensure a Labour government couldn't get their hands on the shares! It's no surprise...
