Yeah I get that...maybe I'm just a traditionalist...Still call Boltons stadium the Reebok.

As an aside, I'm surprised by the amount of people referring to the stadium by it's new name. I thought the Ricoh would've stuck longer to be honest. Maybe I'm a stickler for tradition.

    Derby Sanction

It's a real sorry state of affairs for Derby. That car crash with their players (inc Keogh), the sale of PP for double it's value and paying exorbitant wages they couldn't afford - I'm afraid they'll deserve everything they get. I do feel sorry for the fans (as always) and Wycombe Wanderers FC.

    Waghorn Rumour

Yeah I get that, hence the 'not necessarily' bit. We've 100% had players come here with crap reputations and do well for us over the years. And I know that some don't do well (Eastwood for example), but the sensible thing should be to at least let them play in the shirt for a few games to give...

    Waghorn Rumour

I love it when half of the forum writes off a player without seeing him play for us. Have we not learnt that previous clubs and how they played there, doesn't necessarily have a bearing on how they'll do here? By and large, MR and his team have done well in the recruitment stakes. And people...

Coventry City star Marosi undergoing Shrewsbury Town medical today

I'm surprised. Whilst not perfect, one of the better keepers we've had in recent years. Perhaps he knew he wasn't going to be number 1 and wants that assurance. Good luck to him.

    Transfer Rumour Billy Gilmour

I thought it was a stretch, Gilmour coming here but after last night, absolutely no chance. I'm that confident that he's not coming here, I'll delete my account on here if he does.

Well done for typing that Dave, it's not easy to do. Despite your parents apparent brush off, it seems that the last 18 months has taken it's toll on many, even if this forum is anything to go by. Having felt like crap at many points this year, I agree with what Shmmeee says. I severely reduced...

    Partnership with Sports Alliance

Working with football clubs across a number of divisions in both the mens and womens game, it's really interesting and quite easy to see the difference in 'professionalism' between clubs. These little things we seem to be doing off the pitch are all great steps in the right direction.

Yeah that's the one. The area is going to be turned into a nature reserve eventually. I remember when that big Tesco was built and thought it would limit development going forward. In a way, I'm glad they're staying at FP...such an atmospheric ground and different to the typical bowl new...

They were then going to go for a £600m on the outskirts on Horsea Island but that was canned. They've just announced this week a £10m redevelopment of Fratton Park although it's not going to increase capacity that much from 19,700 to 'rise above 20,000' which makes it sound like it'll only...

To be fair, I only work on away games but I guess could look to extend the work I do further on this sustainability piece by working out how much it would cost to offset players/staff travel for home games. It's actually relatively cheap to offset as well, a lot cheaper than I thought.

I work with the club on accommodation for away games and will be speaking to them about offsetting their carbon footprint for hotel stays/coach travel. I've partnered with a 3rd party to be able to offer this to the clubs I work with.
