Don't think we should draw too much attention to missed red cards yesterday. Or bad decisions in general. We were on the right side of some poor decisions.
He's a very lucky boy. Would have been a 3 game ban too. I get his frustration as he gets no protection, but you can't do that. Got extra lucky that he was booked for it, which I think means they can't apply any retrospective action.
But also 14 in 29 at Lincoln in league one, and 22 in 44 at Mansfield in league 2. If he drops down a division and gets a pre-season to settle in he could be a very good player at league 1 level.
Robins seemed a little coy on this when asked on CWR. Initial response was "That would be good news wouldn't it", followed by "nothing in it". Certainly didn't seem to be ruling out the possibility. I'm probably reading too much into it. 🤣
