Ticket prices - a huge gamble by the financially prudent SISU

fair point sbw. However as discussed on the other thread we are not sure of the purpose of the loan. Also it created some pressure for repayment I think, which meant Maddison was sold. I think in the end people will be disappointed by the sales figure but that's just a guess. I was as I said...

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

you are right nick I had forgotten that but as ever the fee was undisclosed but it wouldn't have been £750k surely. Still means extra funds were available to the club whichever way you look at it.

Ticket prices - a huge gamble by the financially prudent SISU

if it wont put people off renewing ST's then by definition that means pretty much the same number of STH's. The unknown is the matchday tickets and hospitality and to a great extent that is governed by how successful the team is on the pitch not price. Are Wasps a threat to that income yes...

    scrapping

If we were a not physically equipped to scrap as you want (and we had few players that were) and mentally lacked strength compared to other teams then there should be no surprise we failed to beat more physical sides filled with seasoned professionals at L1 not young boys. So it was not clear we...

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

Just to be clear I have never been a SISU advocate or apologist ( I was warning about possible consequences in 2008 when they came in) but people have to ask the right questions and look at facts that are available. Should in my opinion be balanced Not sure how much additional funding is...

Ticket prices - a huge gamble by the financially prudent SISU

Understand the concern Grendel and could perhaps agree but are you saying that because the price has gone to average or just above in L1 that demand is now not price inelastic? "in economic terms our demand is price inelastic up to a point." seems at odds with "However the price increases...

    Well Done Coventry City

    scrapping

Whilst I accept the run from December to March was unacceptable and the results highlighted point to what might have been, created disappointment were there any gamers where we got the points and really shouldn't have? Surely every team in the division could point to injuries, bad referee...

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

nope they are disclosed separately and not included in the turnover figure

    Season ticket prices

never said it was............... but even professionals and custodians are allowed to make mistakes or wrong decisions. Or are we saying TM and the team got it wrong on purpose. The fans have to believe that they will get it right more than they get it wrong. What I said was a fan had to...

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

very few go into any great detail CD so it isn't going to be a helpful exercise. From what I have seen the ones that do don't really show massive sums for F&B or hospitality, they will of course have ground sponsorship but it isn't massive figures (on the otherside of that they have costs we...

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

Following on from my last post over the years the percentage of match day income to total group turnover at CCFC has been (= turnover) 2015 37.7% (4.8m) 2014 30.3% (3.8m) 2013 45.6% (6.6m) 2012 48.8% (10.8m) 2011 24.5% (16.0m) 2010 30.8% (14.1m) and yet the club and others have repeatedly...

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

I know the perceived knowledge is that there is a huge difference between CCFC and the rest of the League about the %age of match day income to total income, but I just wonder how true that is If you take the CCFC accounts for 2015 at Companies House and compare other L1 teams 2015 that...

    Season ticket prices

Wonder what it costs the club for the facility to get that money up front in addition to the cost to the fans? As I suggested earlier there are ways round it in any case
