Although Thomas Asante got stick for losing the ball, leading to their opener, he did well shielding the ball and laying it off neatly to Grimes, in the lead up to the winner. Credit where it's due.
Agree - but their forum is generally 'reasonable' in terms of 'spats' and 'insults'. They tend to talk more about the actual footie (albeit at the moment they are unhappy, so it will be worse than usual)
Been on their forum (and Middlesboro's is similar) but they don't seem to have (allow?) posts like this. The Mackem's forum is similar to ours in terms of 'insults' / language. Assume it's down to our admin/moderators? Not grumbling, just an observation.
He's already called out the Stoke players as 'sh*t' in not so many words,; if he then tells them how good some of ours are, hopefully they'll be beaten before they kick off.
They are due to play Sheff Utd just before us, so hopefully will be up for that and crock aa few players in time for the play offs (assuming Burnley get 2nd)
If they have little chance of the autos, which is looking likely, then they won't bother. Their ticket sales for the game have reached lower categories than usual, plus they think the game may be moved ( Fri night/Sat early) re: TV.
Not really Championship, but glad Posh beat Wrexham tonight (pens) after Wrexham were 2-0 up, to meet Blues at Wembley in the 'whatever Cup final' . Couldn't stand another Blues/Wrexham/Yankee love fest.
Not sure if that was posted after I'd had a gander. I definitely saw an Oxford fan post (where, who knows :ROFLMAO: ) that a Cov mate had told him we had bought some in the home area. Anyway, who cares. except that it's a sh*t if some have been kicked out in advance as a result of a forum post.
I went on their forum ( not posting) and one of their posters referred to 'a Cov mate' who had told him some of our fans had purchased tickets in the home end. Don't recall reading a City fan on there, spouting about it.
